How to Wear

1. Attach Ear Tips and Enhancers: Mix and match the provided S/M/L ear tips and enhancers for a perfect fit and optimal audio performance.
2. TwistLock™ Technology: Insert the earbud into your ear and twist to secure it in place.

First Time Use

For first-time use, place the earbuds into the charging case to activate them.

Power On & Connect

Automatic Pairing

Remove the earbuds from the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode. The left and right earbuds will automatically pair with each other.

Connecting to a Device

Android™ 6.0+ (Fast Pair)

If you have an Android 6.0+ device, a pop-up notification will appear. Tap to pair. The device will be tied to your Google Account.

Other Devices / Manual Bluetooth Connection

On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL ENDURANCE PEAK 3" to connect.

Dual Connect

The JBL Endurance Peak 3 earbuds support dual connect, allowing you to use them in different modes:

• Stereo Mode: Use both left (L) and right (R) earbuds for a full stereo audio experience.
• Mono Mode: Use either the left (L/R) or right (L/R) earbud independently.

Controls

The earbuds feature touch controls. Gestures can be customized via the JBL Headphones App.

*Enable advanced controls by connecting your JBL Endurance Peak 3 to the JBL Headphones App.

**Enable your Voice Assistant through the JBL Headphones App and assign it to your preferred earbud (L/R).

VoiceAware

VoiceAware allows you to control how much of your own voice you hear during calls by adjusting the amount of mic input routed back into your earbuds. This feature can be adjusted via the JBL Headphones App (Low, Mid, High settings).

Power Off

To power off the earbuds, simply place them back into the charging case. The earbuds will automatically switch off.

Manual Setup & Factory Reset

Connect to a New Bluetooth Device

If you need to connect to a new Bluetooth device, ensure the earbuds are in pairing mode (remove from case or initiate pairing via app/manual reset) and select "JBL ENDURANCE PEAK 3" from your device's Bluetooth settings.

Factory Reset

To perform a factory reset: Place the earbuds in the charging case. Open the case. Press and hold the button on the charging case for 5 seconds until the LED indicators on the earbuds flash.

Do More with the App

The JBL Headphones App allows you to personalize your listening experience:

• Ambient Sound Control: Toggle Ambient Aware and TalkThru modes.
• Voice Assistant: Set up and manage Google Assistant or other voice assistants.
• Gestures: Customize earbud touch controls.
• Equalizer: Adjust audio settings with presets (e.g., Jazz, Vocal, Bass, Club, Studio) or create custom profiles.

Note: Some features, like Native Voice Assistant, are only available on Android™ devices.

Charging

To charge the earbuds and case, connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the charging case and a power source.

• Charging Time: Approximately 2 hours from empty for the case and earbuds.
• Speed Charge: A 10-minute charge provides up to 1 hour of music playtime.

The charging case has LED indicators to show battery status.

Waterproof & Dustproof IP68

The JBL Endurance Peak 3 earbuds are rated IP68, meaning they are dust-tight and protected against immersion in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. They are suitable for active adventures, rain or shine, and can be rinsed after a workout. Ensure earbuds are dry before placing them back in the charging case.

LED Behaviors

The LED indicators on the earbuds and charging case provide status information:

• Earbuds:
  • Low Battery: Indicates low power.
  • Charging: Shows when earbuds are charging.
  • Fully Charged: Indicates earbuds are fully charged.
• Bluetooth Connection:
  • Flashing Blue: Bluetooth connecting.
  • Solid Blue: Bluetooth connected.
  • No Light: Bluetooth not connected.

⚠ Battery Lifespan: To prolong battery lifespan, fully charge the device at least once every 3 months. Battery life varies by use and settings.

⚠ Battery Safety: Do not attempt to open, service, or disassemble the battery. Do not short circuit. May explode if disposed of in fire. Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose or recycle used batteries according to instructions.

⚠ Coin/Button Cell Batteries: This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

⚠ Hearing Safety: Do NOT use headphones at a high volume for an extended period to avoid hearing damage. Turn down volume before placing headphones on ears, then gradually increase to a comfortable listening level.

⚠ Usage Restrictions: Do NOT use headphones while driving for phone calls or any other purpose. With noise canceling, do NOT use them where inability to hear surrounding sounds may present a danger (e.g., near traffic, construction sites, railroads). Remove headphones or use noise canceling off to ensure you can hear surrounding sounds, alarms, and warning signals.

⚠ Electrical Safety: Do not install this apparatus near heat sources. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched. Use only manufacturer-specified attachments/accessories. Do not use outdoors during a thunderstorm. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel if damaged. Do not expose to dripping or splashing liquids; ensure no liquid-filled objects are placed on the apparatus. The mains plug of the power supply cord shall remain readily operable. This apparatus is intended to be used only with the power supply and/or charging cable provided by the manufacturer.
