It's Chase to the rescue! Police dog and super spy Chase is here to help save the day. This cute plush character from the popular PAW Patrol television series has been adapted to work with any of our capability switches (not included). Just press the switch and Chase wags his tail and says one of more than 20 phrases and sounds. Chase sports his signature police hat, vest and backpack, just like the character on TV. Also works without a switch by pressing on his backpack. Size: 9½"L × 12"H × 5"D. Requires 3 AAA Batteries. Weight: 1 lb.
Operation:
1. Case requires 3 AA batteries. Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. Turn Case over and then using a Phillips head screwdriver remove the screws and lift the battery cover off. Observing proper (+) & (-) battery polarity, install 3 AA size batteries into the holder. Replace the battery compartment cover and screw.
3. Set the ON/OFF switch to either mode 1(phrases) or mode 2 ( dog sounds) position.
4. Connect Chase to any external capability switch via the cord input jack. Make sure all connections are pushed in all the way, there should be no gaps
5. Press and hold your capability switch or press Chase's backpack and Chase will wag his tail while speaking phrases or make dog sounds with each switch activation (depending on which mode you select). Great for teaching cause and effect. A second press of your switch will say the next phrase or dog sound. Please Note: Case must finish what he is saying first before you can activate your switch again.

6. Turn OFF Chase when finished using to prevent false activation and battery drain.
Troubleshooting: Problem: Case does not work. Action #1: Rotate (spin) the batteries within the battery compartment to ensure a good connection. Check that all batteries are installed properly. Action #2: Check all batteries for freshness, if weak or dead replace with new batteries. Use an alkaline battery (E.G. Duracell or Energizer brand). Action #3: Make sure that you have plugged your switch in all the way. There should be no gaps. Action #4: Try your external capability switches with another device to rule out the switches as the source of the problem. Care of the Unit: If you will not be using Case for an extended amount of time, we recommend removing the batteries. Do not submerge the unit in water, as it will damage the electrical components. Case is surface washable only.
