Overview of Water Hardness Settings
Here is an overview of the water hardness values that can be set. A table with country-specific units is available in the user manual.

Setting the Water Softener System
1. Press [Power Button].
2. Hold down Program Button A and press Start until the display shows H:xx.
3. Release Program Button A and Start.
[Program Button A] flashes.
4. Press Program Button C several times until the desired water hardness level is set.
5. Save the setting by pressing Start.
Filling Special Salt
Prevent machine damage by not filling special salt into the special salt reservoir until just before program start.
1. Unscrew and remove the reservoir lid.
2. For the first use: Fill the reservoir completely with water.
3. Fill the special salt into the reservoir. The water in the reservoir will be displaced and run out. Never add detergent.
4. Replace the reservoir lid and screw it shut.
Filling Rinse Aid
1. Press the tab on the rinse aid reservoir lid and lift it up .
2. Fill rinse aid up to the max marking.
3. Close the rinse aid reservoir lid. The lid snaps shut audibly.
Program Details
Program data are laboratory measurements according to the European standard EN 60436. Consumption values depend on the selected program and extra function. If the rinse aid system is switched off or rinse aid is missing, the running time will change.
A program suitable for night use offers an extended running time, but the machine runs very quietly.

Filling Detergent
1. Fill detergent into the dry detergent compartment.
2. Close the detergent compartment lid. The lid snaps shut audibly.
How it Works
1. Load the dishwasher. Only wash items suitable for machine washing. Remove coarse food residues from the dishes. Check that the spray arms can rotate freely.
2. Add detergent.
3. Start the machine .
4. Set the program.
5. Start the program [Start Button].
6. Remove the dishes after the program has finished.
7. Cancel the program by holding down [Reset Button] for approx. 3 seconds. The program will be cancelled and end after approx. 1 minute.
Cleaning Filters
1. Check after each wash that no residues remain in the filters.
2. Turn the coarse filter counter-clockwise and remove the filter system .
3. Pull the microfilter downwards.
4. Press the locking tabs together and lift the coarse filter upwards .
5. Clean the filter elements under running water.
6. Reassemble the filter system.
7. Insert the filter system into the machine and turn the coarse filter clockwise. Ensure the arrow markings align.
Cleaning Spray Arms
1. Unscrew the upper spray arm and pull it downwards .
2. Pull the lower spray arm upwards.
3. Check under running water that the spray arm nozzles are not blocked and remove any foreign objects if necessary.
4. Insert the lower spray arm. The spray arm snaps into place audibly.
5. Insert the upper spray arm and screw it tight.
Cleaning the Drain Pump
1. Make the appliance de-energised.
2. Remove the filter system.
3. Mop up any remaining water.
4. Pry off the pump cover using a spoon and grip it by the handle.
5. Lift the pump cover upwards at an angle and remove it.
6. Remove food residues and foreign objects around the impeller.
7. Insert the pump cover and press it downwards . The pump cover snaps into place audibly.
8. Reassemble the filter system.
Troubleshooting

E:18 or water inlet symbol lights up. | Inlet hose is kinked. → Straighten the inlet hose so it is not kinked. Water tap is closed. → Open the water tap. Water tap is jammed or calcified. → Open the water tap. The flow rate must be at least 10 litres per minute when the tap is open. Filter at the water inlet is blocked. → 1. Switch off the appliance. 2. Remove the mains plug. 3. Turn off the water tap. 4. Unscrew the water connection. 5. Remove the filter from the inlet hose. 6. Clean the filter. 7.
