Front Panel
The front panel provides access to essential controls and indicators:
- Power Switch: Toggles the unit's main power ON/OFF.
- Level Control: Adjusts the volume level for each channel.
- Power/Protect LED: Indicates the unit's status. Green for normal operation, Red for protect mode.
- Signal LED: Illuminates green when a signal is present on the respective channel.
- Protection LED: Normally off. Turns Red if the unit enters thermal protection, disconnecting the speaker load. Normal operation resumes once the thermal temperature is reduced.
- Clip LED: Illuminates Red when the input signal level is too high.
- Air Intake Vents: Features a variable speed internal cooling fan. Keep these vents clear for proper cooling.
Diagram Description: The front panel diagram shows the layout of the HVA1 and HVA4 amplifiers, illustrating the position of the power switch, level controls, and various LEDs (Power/Protect, Signal, Clip) for each channel.
Rear Panel
The rear panel contains connection points and configuration switches:
- AC Input: Mains power input. The supplied power cord is determined by the country of operation.
- Euroblock Input: For balanced signal input (+), unbalanced signal input, and signal ground (GND). Includes terminals for Fail (Failure Status Output), DIS (Disable Amplifier Input), and PRI (Input Priority Control).
- Euroblock Output: For connecting speakers using Euroblock connectors.
- Operation Mode Switch: Dip-switches allow selection of 70V or 100V operation mode for each channel.
- Exhaust Vents: Allow air to flow through the unit for cooling. Do not block these vents.
Diagram Description: The rear panel diagram illustrates the placement of the AC input, Euroblock input/output connectors, operation mode switches, and speaker outputs. It shows connections for channels A, B, C, and D, along with terminals for Fail, DIS, PRI, and GND.

Applications
The HVA Series amplifiers, with their 4-channel/2-channel design, are versatile for multi-zone audio distribution. They can be configured to serve up to four or two zones, each with different audio sources, or to use the same audio source across all zones.
Diagram Description: The application diagrams illustrate connection examples for 100V line loudspeakers. One diagram shows four zones (ZONE 1, ZONE 2, ZONE 3, ZONE 4) each connected to a channel (CHA, CHB, CHC, CHD) with 100V line loudspeakers connected in parallel, up to 150W/300W load per zone. Another diagram shows a similar setup for two zones.
