This user manual provides detailed information for the ILIFE-V8s Robotic Vacuum Cleaner. Please read it thoroughly before use.

Before using this product, please read the following safety instructions and follow all normal safety precautions.
- Read this user manual thoroughly and carefully before using this product.
- Keep this user manual.
- Any operation or use of this product in any way other than that described in this manual may lead to serious injury or product damage.
WARNING
- Only certified technicians may disassemble the product. Users are not allowed to disassemble or repair the product.
- Only use the AC adapter provided by the factory. Using other AC adapters may cause electric shock, tire or product damage.
- Do not touch the power cord, plug or adapter when your hands are wet.
- Keep loose clothing and fingers away from being drawn into the product's wheels.
- Keep the robot vacuum away from all flammables.
- Never clean the robot while it is on the charging dock or plugged in directly. Unplug the robot and turn off power switch when cleaning.
- Keep the AC power cord tucked away from becoming damaged in any way.
- This product is to be used only indoors. Not intended for outdoor use.
- Do not sit on top of the product or attach an object on the top of it.
- Do not use this product in wet or moist environments.
- Before use, remove all the objects that could get caught in the brushes or suction passage.
- Do not place this product on furniture or platforms where it can fall and be damaged.
- Turn the power switch off when not in use for a long period of time or when transporting the unit.
- To avoid battery damage, please check whether adapter and outlet are properly connected.
- To avoid any tripping hazards or injuries, please inform all the people in the house when this product is in use.
- Do not use this product when dust bin is full.
- Normal operating temperatures: -10 to 50 (centigrade).
- Do not operate this product in high temperature environments.
- The battery must be removed from the product before it is scrapped.
- Unplug the vacuum from power source when removing the battery.
- The battery is to be disposed of safely.
- Use factory authorized battery only. Do not use unmatched battery.

This product is not a toy and should not be used by children or people with lack of related experience or knowledge.

Robot Anatomy
Top View:
- Bumper: Protective front edge.
- Point Mode (Down) Button: Initiates spot cleaning.
- Clean / Pause Button: Starts or pauses cleaning.
- Path Mode: The robot cleans in a systematic pattern.
- Self-charge Button (Up): Returns the robot to the charging dock.
- Timer: Displays current time or timer settings.
Bottom View:
- Cliff Sensors: Detects drops to prevent falls.
- Charging Pin: Connects to the charging dock.
- Battery Lid: Covers the battery compartment.
- Side Wheels: Allow the robot to maneuver.

Product Operation
Remote Control Operation
The remote control has the following buttons:
- 1. Direction Buttons: Control movement.
- 2. Path Mode Button: Selects systematic cleaning.
- 3. Point Mode Button: Selects spot cleaning.
- 4. Self-charge Button: Returns the robot to the charging dock.
- 5. Clean/Pause Button: Starts, pauses, or resumes cleaning.
- 6. Max Mode Button: Increases suction power for deep cleaning.
- 7. Border Mode Button: Cleans along walls and edges.
Clean/Pause Button (⏏):
- Press the button to switch the robot from Sleep Mode to Select Mode.
- Press the button when in Select Mode to start cleaning.
- Press the button to Pause the robot during its operation.
Direction Buttons:
- Forward Button (C2v): Press to move the robot forward. Note: This button does not function during active cleaning.
- MAX Mode Button (CD): Under Cleaning Mode, press to increase suction level for deep cleaning (display shows "Hi"). Press again to return to normal cleaning (display shows "Lo"). Under Mopping Mode, press to change water dropping levels (1=low, 2=middle, 3=high).
- Left Button (@): Press to turn the robot left.
- Right Button (8): Press to turn the robot right.
Self-charge Button (18t):
Press the button to return the robot to the charging dock for recharging.
Border Cleaning Button (G):
Press the button to start border cleaning.
Point Mode Button (<@'>):
Press the button to start the point cleaning.
Path Mode (G):
Press the button to start cleaning under Path Mode.
Charging Home Base
The charging home base requires a power supply socket. It features a signal light and adapter connection.
Placement of Charging Dock:
- Connect the adapter with the charging dock.
- Place the charging dock against a wall in a wide open area. Ensure there is at least 1 meter (3.2 ft) clearance on the left and right sides, and 2 meters (6.5 ft) clearance in the front.
- Avoid placing the charging dock near doors or stairs.
- Ensure there are no reflective objects, such as mirrors, around the dock.
- Connect the power.
Reminder: When the charging dock is connected to the adapter, the signal light will illuminate.
Turn on the Robot:
Turn the power button on the side of the robot ON ('-') or OFF ('0').
Reminder: After the robot finishes its work, do not turn it off; keep it recharged for the next run.
Robot Charging
A. Auto Charging:
Under Auto Mode, the robot automatically searches for the charging dock when its power is low. Under other selected modes, the robot searches for the dock when the respective button on the remote control is pressed.
Reminder: Please keep the charging contact points clean in daily use to ensure a good connection.
B. Manual Charging:
Turn on the power button on the side of the robot, connect the adapter with the robot, and then plug the adapter into the power socket.
Reminder:
- Charge for 12 hours for the first time.
- In daily use, leave the robot on the charging dock with the power and main switch ON.
- If not using the robot for a long time, fully charge it, turn off the power, and store it in a well-ventilated dry place.
- Do not use manual recharge mode under Schedule Mode, as it may prevent the Schedule Mode function from working.
START/PAUSE/SLEEP
Sleeping Mode: Power button is ON, main switch and display panel are off, robot is in pause status.
Selected Mode: Power button is ON, main switch pulses, display panel lights up, robot is in pause status.
Cleaning Mode: Robot is operating, green light is on, display panel shows operation status.
START:
- Ensure the power switch on the side of the robot is "ON".
- Press the ⏏ button on the robot or the ⌚ button on the remote control to start operation.
Reminder: If the robot is in Sleep Mode, press the ⏏ button to wake it up and enter Select Mode. Then press ⏏ again to start operation.
PAUSE:
Pressing the ⏏ button on the remote control or the ⏏ button on the robot switches the robot from Cleaning Mode to Select Mode. It can be paused this way.
Reminder: You can operate the machine again after it's paused.
SLEEP:
- To enter Sleep Mode: Press the ⏹ button for three seconds.
- The machine will automatically enter Sleep Mode if no action is taken for 3 minutes.
Schedule Cleaning Mode
Create a schedule to let the robot work automatically every day.
Clock Time Setup (88:88):
- When the vacuum is turned on, press the ⏰ button for 2 seconds. The Hour part on the display will blink, indicating time setting mode.
- Use the ⏏ and ⌚ buttons to adjust time numbers. Press the ⏰ button to switch between hour, minute, 12/24 hour format, and week.
- 12/24 Hour Format Setup: Press the ⏰ button to switch between 12/24 hour format; the display will show ON/OFF respectively.
- When time setting is completed, press the ⏹ button to save the setup.
Reminder: The robot exits setting mode automatically after 15 seconds of inactivity. Setup is not saved if ⏹ is not pressed.
Schedule Cleaning Timer Setup (88:88):
Once a schedule is set, the robot works at the set time daily. If the power switch is turned off, the schedule needs to be reset.
- When the vacuum is turned on, quickly press the ⏰ button. It will beep, and "0" and "DAY" will blink, indicating schedule setting mode.
- Press the ⏏ and ⌚ buttons to switch between hours and minutes. Press ⏹ and ⏰ to adjust time numbers.
- When schedule setting is completed, press the ⏹ button to save the setup.
Attention: The robot exits setting mode automatically after 15 seconds of inactivity. Setup is not saved if ⏹ is not pressed.
Cancel the Schedule:
When the machine is turned on, quickly press the ⏰ button. It will beep, and "0" and "DAY" will blink. Press the ⌚ button to cancel the day schedule (display shows "---- "). Pressing ⌚ again will re-enable the schedule (display shows previous time).
Robot Operation
Clean/Pause Button (⏏):
- Press to switch from Sleep Mode to Select Mode.
- Press when in Select Mode to start cleaning.
- Press to pause during operation.
Path Mode (⌚):
- Press to switch from Sleep Mode to Select Mode.
- Press under Select Mode to start cleaning in Path Mode.
- Press to pause during operation.
Direction Buttons:
- ⏹ (Return to Charge): Under selected or cleaning mode, press to return to the charging station. In Schedule/Time setting mode, press to increase the number.
- ◉ (Spot Cleaning): Under select or cleaning mode, press to start spot cleaning. In Schedule/Time setting mode, press to decrease the number.
Mode Selection
Choose from various cleaning modes using the remote control. Ensure the robot is awake (power ON, green light, display ON, robot paused) before selecting a mode.
Auto Mode:
The robot cleans automatically and covers all reachable areas.
Reminder: Press the ⏏ button on the robot or the ⌚ button on the remote control to enter Auto Mode.
Point Mode:
Place the robot near the required area and press the ⏫ button on the robot or ⏰ button on the remote control to start cleaning in Point Mode.
Border Mode:
Place the robot near the required area and press the ⏩ button on the remote control to start cleaning in Border Mode.
MAX Mode:
For heavy dust, press the ⏩ button on the remote control. The display will show "Hi" for enhanced suction. Press again to return to normal vacuum power ("Lo" displayed).
Path Mode:
Press the ⌚ button on the robot or remote control. The robot cleans in a path mode, automatically calculating missing areas for efficient cleaning.
Mopping Mode:
The robot starts mopping in 7m x 7m areas. During mopping, press the ⏩ button on the remote control to adjust the water dropping speed.
Self-charge Mode:
The robot senses low power and automatically searches for the charging dock. You can also activate this mode by pressing the ⏹ button on the robot or remote control.
Water Tank Operation
The product includes water tank components for mopping. It is recommended to clean with the dustbin first, then switch to the water tank components for mopping.
- If the robot stops during mopping to add water or clean the mop, it will reset and plan a new path. For best results, use in a single room.
- When cleaning a second room, manually move the robot and add water/clean the mop cloth as needed.
- Do not use the water tank components on carpets or rugs. Fold rug edges or block carpeted areas.
- During mopping, add water or clean the mop pad promptly. Remove the water tank when adding water.
- Be sure to remove the water tank components when charging.
Add Water:
Open the water injection cap, fill the water tank with the water cup, and pour slowly.
Place the Mop Cloth:
Close the water injection cap tightly, place the mop cloth, and secure it with the two elastic bands.
Install Water Tank Components:
Press the button at the end of the dustbin, remove the dustbin, and replace it with the water tank components.
Mop the Floor:
When needed, the robot will perform mopping.
Regular Maintenance
Please turn off the robot and unplug the charging dock when cleaning the robot and its accessories.
Side Brush and Suction Inlet Cleaning:
Clean the side brush and suction inlet when dirty. Replace them if damaged.
Dustbin and Filter Cleaning:
Clean the dustbin and filter after each use.
Reminder:
- Remove the dustbin and check the suction inlet for debris. Clean as needed.
- The primary filter is replaceable and can be washed with water after 15-30 days of use. Dry it in a cool, well-ventilated place; do not squeeze.
- The High Effective Filter cannot be cleaned with water. To prolong its life, shake the filter to clean it.
Cleaning of Water Tank Components:
Clean the Mop Cloth:
Remove: After mopping, remove the water tank components and the mop cloth.
Maintenance: Rinse and air dry the mop cloth.
Clean the Water Tank:
Remove: After mopping, remove the mop cloth and components. Drain any remaining water from the tank.
Maintenance: Dry the water tank by hand and then air dry it.
Sensors and Charging Contact Points Cleaning:
Use a cleaning tool or soft cloth to clean the sensors or charging contact points.
Reminder: Clean charging contact points promptly if contaminated.
Front Wheel Cleaning:
Ensure the front wheel housing is not jammed by debris, as this affects cleaning performance.
- Pull the wheel up and out vertically.
- Clean the wheel, wheel holder, and wheel housing.
