Step 6: Attaching Devices with 360° Ball Head
Tighten the dial on the 360° Ball Head so the metal ball is firmly set in an upright position. Screw the 360° Ball Head into the 1/4 in. screw thread on your device. Screw in firmly, but do not over tighten. Once securely attached to your device, attach it to the 1/4 in. screw on the arm by turning the dial underneath.
Diagram Description: Two illustrations: the first shows a device (e.g., camera) being screwed onto the 360° Ball Head. The second shows the 360° Ball Head assembly being attached to the end of an arm via its mounting screw and tightened with a dial.
Note: Other devices can be mounted onto the 360° Ball Head (phone mounts, microphones, LED lights, etc.).
Step 7: Attaching Devices with 1/4 in. Mount
Screw the 1/4 in. Mount adapter into the 1/4 in. screw thread on your device. Screw in firmly, but do not over tighten. Once securely attached to your device, attach it to the arm by inserting it inside the socket and turning the locking screw to securely attach.
Diagram Description: Two illustrations: the first shows a device (e.g., camera) being screwed onto the 1/4 in. Mount adapter. The second shows the 1/4 in. Mount adapter assembly being attached to the end of an arm via its socket and secured with a locking screw.
Note: Other devices can be mounted onto the 1/4 in. Mount adapter (phone mounts, cameras, microphones etc.).
