Introduction

The HDMI™ 8K splitter 1x4 lets you share four HDMI™ displays or projectors with an HDMI-enabled audio / video source device. With support for Ultra HD (8K@60Hz) the HDMI™ splitter ensures astonishing picture quality, four times the resolution of UHD 4K@60 Hz. The 8K splitter is also backward compatible with previous HDMI™ revisions, supporting 4K/1080p / 720p HDMI™ video resolution devices. Even if you don't require 8K video today, the HDMI™ 8K Splitter 1x4 ensures you'll be ready to take advantage of tomorrow's display technology. It features three different EDID modes auto/copy/downscaler for meet needs of different display occasions.

Features

• Support three different EDID modes: auto/copy/downscaler.
• Auto EDID Mode: Gets the lower resolution and audio format of both outputs for the input device to output the signal to fit both outputs.
• Copy EDID Mode: Copies the output1 resolution and audio format for the input device. If the other output device supported resolution is lower than the output1 connected device, it will downscale the resolution and keep the same audio format, HDR format, and deep color as output1. Otherwise, it will output the same signal to both outputs.
• Downscaler Mode: Downscales the input 8K resolution to 4K or 1080p for UHD (4K) or FHD (1080p) displays, and 8K resolution to 8K displays simultaneously.
• Support full 3D video format.
• Support high definition resolution: 8K@60Hz 4:4:4, 4K@120Hz, and 1080P@240Hz.
• Support 1200MHz/2Gbps per channel bandwidth (48Gbps all channels).
• Support 12bit per channel (36bit all channels) deep color.
• Support HDCP 2.3, and back compatible with HDCP2.2 and HDCP1.4.
• Support High Dynamic Range (HDR) video pass-through, such as HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, etc.
• Support Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) function.
• Support uncompressed audio such as LPCM.
• Support compressed audio such as DTS, Dolby Digital (including DTS-HD Master Audio™ and Dolby TrueHD).

Note: If you would like to output 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, and 1080P@240Hz via the splitter to your displays, please ensure your source devices, cables, and monitors all support the required resolution and refresh rate.

Note: You need to connect standard HDMI-compatible 2.1 cables to enjoy 8K visual effects.

Note: In downscaler mode, the supported resolution is limited to 8K@60 4:2:0 for the main chip performance.

1. Power LED: Indicates the power status.
2. 1-4: HDMI Output 1-4 LED Indicator: Shows the status of each HDMI output.

5. Downscaler Mode LED Indicator: When ON, indicates the splitter is in Downscaler EDID Mode. It downscales 8K input to 4K or 1080p for specific outputs, or maintains 8K for compatible outputs.
6. EDID: A button to select between Downscaler, Auto, and Copy EDID modes.
7. DC/5V: USB-C DC 5V input port for power.
8. INPUT: HDMI input port for the source device.
9. OUTPUT 1-4: Four HDMI output ports for connecting displays.

Connection Diagram Description

The connection diagram illustrates how to connect the 8K60 HDMI 4 Way Splitter. A source device, such as a PlayStation 5 (PS5), is connected to the splitter's HDMI INPUT port using an 8K HDMI Cable. The splitter's four HDMI OUTPUT ports are then connected to four separate displays (e.g., 8K UHD TV (8K@60Hz) or 8K UHD TV (4K@60Hz)) using 8K HDMI Cables.

Troubleshooting

Power light is off and product is not working. How can I fix this?

First, please check the following items:

1. Ensure that your device's HDMI input device is properly connected and powered on.
2. Check that the HDMI port is correctly selected and properly connected.

My display flickers when I use the switcher.

This may be caused by one or more of the following:

• Make sure the HDMI cable and splitter are securely connected.
• Ensure the HDMI cable is a standard HDMI 2.1 cable. The length should be within the splitter's limits: 2 meters for HDMI in and out at 8K/60Hz 4:4:4, and up to 4 meters for 4K@60Hz.
• Try connecting to a different output port to test the display.
• Change to a different EDID mode to see if the display functions normally.

The switcher auto switch function can't work normally.

No, the product can support two 8K displays simultaneously in "auto" and "copy" modes, provided both displays support the same 8K resolution. In downscaler mode, output1 will output 8K@60Hz 4:2:0, and output2 will output 4K or 1080p resolution that fits the connected display's resolution.
