Assembly Instructions and User Guide

Important Information Before You Start

Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain for future reference.

Maximum Load Capacities:

Assembly Time: Approximately 30 minutes.

Do not use power tools for assembly.

Do not climb on the unit.

Do not jump on the unit.

Maintenance: Re-tighten fixings every 6 months. Always use the anti-tip straps or wall mounts provided for safe product use (if applicable).

Intended Use and General Safety

Intended Use: This product is not intended for outdoor use, as a climbing structure, or as a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.

Assembly Location: Assemble close to the product's intended position. Locate in a suitable area where it will not create an obstruction, and away from sources of combustion.

General Safety: The assembly pack may contain small parts which can pose a choking hazard to children and pets. Place the unit on solid and even ground. Only use in an upright, stable position. Do not overload the product, as this may result in damage or personal injury.

Cleaning & Maintenance: Do not clean with abrasive cloths or chemicals. Solvents or detergents can damage the surface. Periodically check and re-tighten fittings. Re-tighten all fittings after the first week following assembly. To clean, use a sponge with warm water, a soft cloth, and mild detergent. Ensure all parts are present before assembly. If components are missing, contact customer services at support@domu.co.uk. Do not proceed with assembly if any components are missing.

Assembly Steps

Follow these steps carefully to assemble your unit.

Step 1:

Attach part 1 (main panel) to part 2 (side panel) using 13x of hardware A (screws).

Attach part 4 (shelf) to part 2 (side panel) using 4x of hardware B (cam locks/dowels).

Attach part 7 (side panel) to part 1 (main panel) using 7x of hardware B (cam locks/dowels) and 4x of hardware C (dowels).

Step 4:

Attach part 3 (back panel) to the structure using 2x of hardware B (cam locks/dowels) and 2x of hardware C (dowels).

Step 5:

Attach part 6 (base panel) to the structure using 8x of hardware D (screws).

Step 6:

Attach part 8 (back panel) to the structure using 9x of hardware E (screws) and 6x of hardware C (dowels).

Step 7:

Insert part 5 (shelf) into the unit, securing it with 4x of hardware M (shelf supports).

Before adding the shelf, feed any wires through the hole at the back.

Step 8:

Attach brackets K and L to the back of the unit using hardware J (screws).

Step 9:

Final check of all connections. Ensure the unit is stable.

Wall Mounting Guide

Important: When drilling into walls, always check for hidden wires or pipes. Ensure screws and wall plugs are suitable for supporting the unit. If unsure, contact a qualified tradesperson.

Tips: Use a drill bit that matches the wall plug and hole size. Take extra care when drilling high walls, ceilings, and ceramic tiles; fit wall plugs below ceramic tiles to avoid splitting. Ensure wall plugs are well fitted and secure.
