Warnings
· Not suitable for children under 18 months. Long cord. Strangulation hazard.
· This product should only be used under supervision of a competent person.
· The fibre can be handled extensively but users should be discouraged from puting them in their mouth as excessive biting may result in broken fibre strands.

· The common end which is inserted into the light source collar should not be accessible to the end user.
· UFO accept no liability for injury or damage caused by improper or unsupervised usage, or misuse or abuse of the product.
Usage Tips
1/ Securely attach the light source to a wall and allow the fibre to cascade down like a waterfall.
2/ Demonstrate the safety of the strands by stroking them gently.
3/ Drape the strands over arms, legs or the whole body, avoiding the neck area.
4/ Fan out the strands to create a coloured light across hands or faces.

Product Overview
A super safe side sparkle PMMA fibre optic harness for sensory use. EN71 & CPSIA certified.
Attach the fibre optics to a UFO light source* and watch as they come alive. Depending on the light source used, the colour change or twinkling effects (or a combination of both) will bring the ultimate sensory appeal to anyone over the age of 18 months.
Setup Procedure
1/ Remove all packaging, including the ties which hold the strands together.
2/ Remove and dispose of the plastic cap that protects the silver, cylindrical common end.
3/ Plug the common end into your light source unit as far as it will go and then secure it in place with the screw in the light source collar. Ensure the common end which plugs into the light source is not accessible to the end user.
4/ Ensure the power cable is safely routed out of way.
5/ Refer to separate instructions included with light source unit for more information on its operation.

Looking After the Fibre Optic Harness
Cleaning the fibre optic harness Before performing any cleaning ensure that the light source is switched off and unplugged from the electrical supply.
The fibre optic harness should be cleaned periodically with a clean, slightly damp, non-abrasive cloth. For stubborn marks, soapy water may be used and the harnesss should be dried thoroughly afterwards.
Do not immerse the fibre optic harness in water and do not wet the common end connector.

Care of the fibre optic harness
Avoid walking on the fibre optic harness. Also take care not to bend, pinch or squash the harness repeatedly, as it may cause the internal fibre strands to break. This will result in the light not passing to the end of the strand and impair the sensory effect. Take particular care to avoid damage from wheeled aids being run over the fibre.
