Drying
Condensate Drainage
Empty the condensate container after each drying cycle. Do not empty during the drying process.
- Pull out the condensate container and hold it horizontally.
- Pour out the condensate.
- Always push the container back in completely until it clicks into place.
If the ☐ symbol flashes in the display, refer to page 6.
Cleaning Lint Filters
The lint filter consists of two parts. Clean the inner lint filter after every drying cycle and the outer lint filter after every 5 drying cycles.
- Open the door. Remove lint from the door and door area.
- Pull out the inner lint filter and unfold it.
- Remove lint by running your hand over the lint filter.
Rinse heavily soiled or clogged lint filters under running water and dry thoroughly.
- Fold the lint filter and reinsert it.
If necessary, clean the outer lint filter:
- Remove the inner lint filter, then remove the outer lint filter.
- Unfold and remove lint. Rinse under running water and dry thoroughly!
- Fold, insert the lint filters into each other, and reinsert them.
Turning Off the Dryer
Set the program selector to 'Off'. Do not leave laundry in the dryer!
Removing Laundry
Your dryer features an automatic anti-crease function. The drum moves at specific intervals for 30 minutes after the program ends. Laundry remains loose and fluffy (with the 'Easy Iron' option selected for 60 or 120 minutes).
The program ends when the -✕ symbol lights up in the display.
Interrupting a Program
Laundry can be added or removed for a short period. The selected program must then be continued and completed!
Never switch off the dryer before the end of the drying process!
- Open the door; the drying process will be interrupted.
- Add or remove laundry and close the door.
- If necessary, re-select the program and additional functions.
- Select the Start/Stop button. The remaining time will be updated after a few minutes.
Laundry Care Instructions
Textile Labeling
Observe the manufacturer's care instructions!
- ☐ Dry at normal temperature.
- ☐ Dry at low temperature - select 'Delicate' additionally.
- ☐ Do not machine dry.
Always observe the safety instructions on page 13!
For example, do not dry the following textiles in the dryer:
- Impermeable textiles (e.g., rubberized).
- Delicate fabrics (silk, synthetic curtains) - may cause creasing!
- Laundry soiled with oil.
Tips for Drying
- Sort laundry by fabric type and drying program for even drying results.
- Dry very small textiles (e.g., baby socks) together with larger laundry items (e.g., towels).
- Close zippers, hooks, and eyes; button up covers. Tie fabric belts, apron strings, etc. together.
- Do not over-dry easy-care laundry - risk of creasing! Allow laundry to air dry.
- Do not dry wool in the dryer, only refresh - see program 'Wool finish' on page 7.
- Do not iron laundry immediately after drying; fold it for a while - the residual moisture will then distribute evenly.
- Knitted textiles (e.g., T-shirts, jersey) often shrink during the first drying cycle. Do not use the 'Extra Dry' program.
- Stiffened laundry is only suitable for dryers to a limited extent - starch leaves a residue that impairs drying.
- Dose fabric softener according to the manufacturer's instructions for the laundry to be dried.
- Use the time program for small loads to optimize drying results.
Environmental Protection / Savings Tips
- Spin laundry thoroughly in the washing machine before drying - higher spin speeds shorten drying time and reduce energy consumption; spin easy-care laundry too.
- Use the maximum recommended load, but do not exceed it - see program overview on page 7.
- Ventilate the room well during drying.
- Do not block or tape over the air inlet.
Important Notes
Your dryer is particularly energy-efficient and technically characterized by a cooling circuit that efficiently utilizes energy, similar to a refrigerator. The heat exchanger of the dryer is automatically cleaned during drying. Lint filters and the filter in the condensate container must be cleaned regularly.
Never operate the dryer without the lint filter and/or the filter in the condensate container!
Lint Filter
During drying, lint and hair from the laundry are collected in the lint filter. A clogged lint filter can reduce heat exchange. Therefore, clean the lint filter after every drying cycle. Rinse regularly under running water - see page 4.
Filter in the Condensate Container
The filter in the condensate container cleans the condensate. This condensate is used for automatic cleaning. The filter should be cleaned regularly under running water. Emptying the condensate container before cleaning the filter is necessary - see page 9.
Textiles
Do not dry textiles that have come into contact with solvents, oil, wax, grease, or paint: e.g., hairspray, nail polish remover, stain removers, cleaning spirits, etc.
Empty the pockets of textiles.
Do not dry impermeable textiles.
Avoid heavily linting laundry items.
Only refresh wool in the wool program.

Care and Cleaning
Heat Exchanger
The dryer's heat exchanger is automatically cleaned during drying; 'Cln' appears in the display. Do not pull out the condensate container during the cleaning process.
Dryer Housing, Control Panel, Air Inlet
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use sharp cleaning agents or solvents. Immediately remove any detergent or cleaner residue. Water may occasionally collect between the window and the seal. This does not affect the function of your dryer!
Filter in the Condensate Container
The filter is automatically cleaned when the condensate container is emptied. Nevertheless, clean the filter regularly under running water → to prevent stubborn deposits/contaminants. Cleaning is necessary if the ≡ symbol flashes again in the display after emptying the condensate container.
- Pull out the condensate container.
- Turn the filter to release it.
- Clean the filter under a stream of running water.
- Insert the filter and turn it until it stops.
- Push the condensate container back in until it clicks into place.
Operate the dryer only with the filter inserted!
Moisture Sensors
The dryer is equipped with stainless steel moisture sensors. The moisture sensors measure the moisture level of the laundry. A fine layer of limescale may form on the moisture sensors after prolonged use.
- Open the door.
- Clean the moisture sensors with a damp sponge with a rough surface.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners!
