Instructions for users on removal, recycling, and disposal of used batteries

• To remove batteries from your equipment or remote control, reverse the insertion procedure described in the user manual. For products with a built-in battery that lasts the life of the product, removal by the user may not be possible. In this case, recycling centers handle product disassembly and battery removal. Replace only with specified batteries.

WARNING - For products containing coin/button cell batteries: DO NOT SWALLOW BATTERY, CHEMICAL BURN HAZARD. This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns in just two hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.

Do not look directly into the light when the speaker lights are on.

Bakre panel

1) GAIN: Adjust the gain for the guitar input.

5) 🎙 (Microphone holder mount): For mounting the microphone holder.

8) USB-C:

• Connect to a USB storage device.
• Connect to your computer, tablet, or other mobile devices.

Trådlös mikrofon

1) Strömknapp: Turn the microphone on or off.

2) Statusindikator:

• Battery status:
  • Fast white: More than 4 hours of playtime remaining.
  • Blinking red: Less than 4 hours of playtime remaining.
  • Solid red: Charging the microphone.
• 2.4 GHz trådlös anslutning:
  • Blinking fast white: Pairing with the speaker.
  • Solid white: Connected to the speaker.
• Software update:
  • Blinking alternately white and red: Updating software.

3) Laddningsuttag: Charge the microphone (USB-C cable not included).

Placering

Do not sit on the speaker, lean on it, or push it sideways to avoid tipping or damage.

Place the speaker on a flat, stable surface with the rubber feet facing down.

Slå På

Use only the supplied power cord.

You can use either AC power or the built-in battery to power the speaker.

1. Connect AC power.
2. Press ▶ to turn on the speaker.

To use the built-in battery, disconnect the AC power after charging the speaker.

Fully charge the speaker to extend the life of the built-in battery.

When the speaker is on, you can check the battery level by pressing any button on the speaker.

The speaker will automatically switch to standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity. You can press the speaker to return to normal operation.

Använda din PartyBox

Only one audio source can be played at a time. If you start playback from another source, the current source will always be interrupted.

Bluetooth-anslutning

You can use the speaker with your mobile phone or tablet via Bluetooth.

1. Press 📱 on the speaker to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. Select "JBL PartyBox Encore 2" on your Bluetooth device to connect.
3. Once connected, audio will stream from your Bluetooth device to this speaker.

This speaker supports multipoint connection. You can pair a second Bluetooth device without disconnecting the first.

Enter "0000" if a PIN code is required for connection to a Bluetooth device.

Bluetooth performance may be affected by the distance between this product and your Bluetooth device, as well as the surrounding environment.

To disconnect a Bluetooth-enabled device:

• Turn off this speaker or
• Disable Bluetooth on your device.

To reconnect a Bluetooth device:

• When you turn on this speaker next time, it will attempt to reconnect to the last connected device.
• If not, manually select "JBL PartyBox Encore 2" on your Bluetooth device to connect.

USB-anslutning

Connect the speaker to a computer, tablet, or other mobile device for audio playback and recording (microphone and guitar input only).

Connect a USB storage device containing playable audio content to the speaker's USB-C port (not applicable for EMEA region).

The speaker will automatically switch to the USB source.

Audio playback will start automatically.

The speaker plays audio files on the USB storage device from the root folder to the last level of subfolders in alphabetical order. Up to 8 levels of subfolders are supported.

The skip function is not available in AUX mode.

AUX-anslutning

1. Connect an external audio device to the speaker using a 3.5 mm audio cable (not included).
2. After stopping playback from any other source, start audio playback on the external device.

Sing into the microphone or play the guitar (not included) to mix its sound with an audio source.

Always set the guitar or microphone volume to minimum before connecting/disconnecting the guitar or microphone.

Always disconnect the guitar or microphone when not in use.

Anslutning av en mikrofon

By default, the wireless microphone is already paired with the speaker from the factory.

Connect the microphone to the power supply via the USB-C port. The microphone will start charging automatically.

• Place the microphone holder onto the speaker as shown in the illustration.
• Carefully place the microphone in the holder, ensuring it is secured with the microphone holder strap.

To update software: When the microphone is connected to the JBL PartyBox app, the software update will start automatically (if available). After the update is complete, the microphone will restart and automatically reconnect to the speaker.

Connecting a new wireless microphone:

1. Turn off the speaker.
2. Turn on the new microphone and the speaker.

The microphone will pair and connect automatically to the speaker within 3 minutes.

Ensure the distance between the new wireless microphone and the speaker is less than 1 meter.

The microphone is powered by the built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery. When the battery level is low, the status indicator will blink red quickly.

1. Pull the latch to open the battery compartment, then remove the old battery.
2. Insert a new battery of the same type (JBL BATTERY 200) with the metal contacts facing down, then close the battery cover.

You can connect multiple PartyBox speakers to create a party atmosphere with enhanced sound.

Press ★ on both speakers.

To disconnect:

Turn off or press ★ on any of the speakers.

By default, the speaker connected to your Bluetooth device is the primary speaker.

Always keep the charging port dry before connecting AC power.

To ensure the speaker is splashproof, always keep the protective covers closed properly.

The product may be in demo mode. In demo mode, the buttons ▶ and 💡 are disabled. With AC power connected, press and hold ▶ and 💡 for more than 10 seconds to exit demo mode.

Bluetooth

The Bluetooth connection is poor. Move the device closer to the speaker or remove obstructions between the device and the speaker.

Bluetooth-anslutningsläge

The product is designed for streaming music via Bluetooth connection. A consumer can stream audio via Bluetooth to the speaker. When the product is connected via Bluetooth, the Bluetooth connection must remain active at all times to ensure correct operation.

The product enters network standby mode after 20 minutes of inactivity. Power consumption in standby mode is less than 2.0 watts, after which it can be reactivated via Bluetooth connection.
