Insert Batteries:

Use high-quality batteries (e.g., alkaline). Do not use zinc-carbon batteries. Replace batteries when the battery symbol ? flashes. The device automatically switches off after 180 seconds of inactivity.

Multifunctional Endpiece:

If an error message does not disappear after switching the device on repeatedly, contact your dealer.

156 Transverse tilt greater than 10° Hold the instrument without any transverse tilt.
162 Calibration mistake Ensure the device is placed on an absolutely horizontal and flat surface. Repeat the calibration procedure. If the mistake persists, contact your dealer.
204 Calculation error Perform measurement again.
240 Data transfer error Repeat procedure.
252 Temperature too high Let the device cool down.
253 Temperature too low Warm the device up.
255 Received signal too weak, measuring time too long Change target surface (e.g., white paper).
256 Received signal too high Change target surface (e.g., white paper).
257 Too much background light Shadow target area.
258 Measurement outside of measuring range Correct range.
260 Laser beam interrupted Repeat measurement.

3 Years No Cost Guaranteed Service: Requires product registration at www.leicageosystems.com/registration within 8 weeks of purchase. If not registered, a "2 years no cost" period applies.

Limits of Use: Refer to "Technical Data". The device is for use in permanently habitable areas. Do not use in explosion hazardous areas or aggressive environments.

Disposal: Dispose of batteries and the product according to national and local regulations. Do not dispose of with household waste.

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC): The device conforms to stringent standards, but minor interference with other devices cannot be totally excluded.
