Connecting the remote control

Remote Control Connection

A new remote control must establish a new connection to the cooker hood when used for the first time. One remote control can potentially control several cooker hoods simultaneously.

Connection Process between Remote Control and Cooker Hood

Within 15 seconds after the cooker hood connects to the power supply, long press the ? button for 5 seconds. The indicator lights will begin flashing from one button to another, indicating the cooker hood is in connection mode. Press any button on the remote control to confirm the connection. The connection process is finished, and the remote control can be used for speed selection, lighting, and timer settings.

If you want to connect again, you will need to clear the previously set code.

To Clear the Code:

Press the ? button for 5 seconds. The indicator lights will begin flashing from one button to another, and the cooker hood will enter connection mode. Then, press the ? button again for 5 seconds to clear the previous connection code.

Reconnecting After Clearing Code:

When the previous code has been cleared, the cooker hood returns to standby mode. Press the ? button for 5 seconds. The indicator lights will flash from one button to another, indicating the cooker hood is in connection mode. Then, press any button on the remote control to confirm the connection.

Remote Control Functions

Remote Control Buttons:
  • Top Left: Speed Up / Power On
  • Top Right: Light (☀️)
  • Bottom Left: Speed Down / Power Off
  • Bottom Right: Timer (⏳)

1. Lighting Button (☀️)

Press the lighting button once to turn the light on. The indicator lights for the lighting and power buttons will illuminate. Press again to turn the light off. The indicator lights for the lighting and power buttons will turn off. This cycles on and off.

2. Turning On / Increasing Motor Speed Button (⬆️)

The motor has three speed levels: low, medium, and high.

  • 2.1 Press the button once. The indicator light will turn on, and the motor will operate at low speed.
  • 2.2 When the motor is at low speed, press the button again to change to middle speed.
  • 2.3 From the middle speed condition, press the button again to change to high speed.
  • 2.4 From the high speed condition, pressing the button again will keep the hood operating at high speed.

3. Turning Off / Decreasing Motor Speed Button (⬇️)

Press the button. The motor will shift to a lower speed. Repeatedly pressing this button will continue to decrease the motor speed until the cooker hood turns off. The indicator light will turn off.

4. Timer Button (⏳)

4.1 Press the timer button to enter the timer setting state. The initial timer setting defaults to 5 minutes. The timer function will be automatically confirmed after 2 seconds of setting. After confirmation, it will begin to decrease by seconds. When the set time reaches zero, the motor will automatically cut off the power supply.

4.2 When using the timer function of the remote control, if the control panel changes the time setting, the timer function of the hood controlled by the remote control will automatically default to the time set previously. After 5 seconds, it will start to decrease every second. The set time will run according to the new time defined.

4.3 After confirming the timer function, the hood enters the timer state. At this time, press the timer button again to cancel the timer function.
