Getting Started

Power On the Camera
Connect the camera to power. You can choose wireless or wired network connection.

Get the Imou Life App
Scan the QR code or search for "Imou Life" to download and install the app. Create an account and log in.

Set Up the Camera
Scan the QR code on the device or the guide with the app, and follow on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Install the Camera
Ensure the mounting surface is strong enough to hold three times the weight of the camera. Refer to detailed installation instructions.
LED Status
| LED Status | Device Status |
|---|---|
| Green Flashing | Ready to set up the device |
| Green Solid | Working properly |
| Red Flashing | Network disconnected |
| Red Solid | Failed to set up the device |
| Green & Red Alternating | Booting |
| Off | Device malfunction / Updating firmware / Power off / LED turned off |
Resetting the Camera
If you need to reset the camera, press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds. The LED turns solid red when the camera is booting.
Installation Details
Mounting Surface: Must be strong enough to support three times the weight of the camera.
Environmental:
- Operating Temperature: -30°C to +50°C (-22°F to +122°F)
- IP66 rated for dust and water resistance.
Optional Accessories:
- D1: Mounting accessories (D1-1, D1-2, D1-3, D1-4)
- D2: Power accessories (D2-1, D2-2, D2-3, D2-4, D2-5)
