Downloading the Application

To use the endoscope camera with your mobile device, you need to download and install the "inskam" application.

Note for Android Users: The camera functionality requires the Android phone to support OTG (On-The-Go) and external camera connections. It does not support iOS devices directly for camera connection without specific apps or configurations. ⚠️ [Android OTG Required]

Upon connecting the camera, the software should automatically display a dialog box for permissions. You may need to grant access to photos, media, and files on your device.

The application interface typically includes options for viewing video, taking pictures, saving documents, and accessing settings. It also allows zooming and switching between different camera devices if available.

Connecting to a Computer

To use the endoscope camera with a computer (Windows or macOS):

For Windows:

  1. Download the computer software from www.inskam.com/download/camera.zip.
  2. Extract the contents of the "Camera.zip" file and run "Camera.exe" to install the Smart Camera software.
  3. Connect the camera adapter to your device and then connect the adapter to your computer's USB port.
  4. Open the installed Smart Camera application and select the camera device (e.g., "USB CAMERA" or "Smart Camera") from the device list.

For macOS:

For MacBook OS users, you can use built-in applications such as "Photo Booth", "QuickTime Player", or third-party video players like "VLC (VideoLan Client)" to view the camera feed. Connect the camera via USB and select it as the video source within these applications.

Environmental and Disposal Information

This device contains elements and chemical compounds that may negatively impact the environment and human health. Electrical and electronic equipment marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol ?️ (or [crossed-out-bin-symbol]) must not be disposed of with regular municipal waste. Such equipment is collected and recycled.
