Device Interface and Controls
The GB30 is designed to be intuitive and easy to use, featuring clearly labeled indicators and buttons:
- Power Button: Push to turn the unit 'On' and 'Off'.
- Power LED: Illuminates white when the unit is 'On'.
- Error LED: Solid red if connected in reverse polarity; flashes red if the internal temperature is too high.
- Internal Battery Level Indicators: Four LEDs (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) indicate the charge level of the internal battery. These LEDs chase each other when the Boost is actively jump starting.
- 12V Boost OUT Port: The primary output for jump starting.
- Boost LED: Illuminates white when the Boost is jump starting and flashes when in manual mode.
- Manual Override Button: WARNING: This button disables safety protection and manually forces the Boost unit 'On'. It should only be used when the vehicle battery is too low to be detected by the unit's automatic safety features.
- Light Mode Button: Cycles through 7 light modes: 100% brightness > 50% brightness > 10% brightness > SOS signal > Blink > Strobe > Off.
- 2.1A USB OUT Port: Standard USB port for charging external devices.
- 2.1A USB IN Port: Standard Micro USB port for recharging the GB30 unit.
