The StarTech.com 6.6ft (2m) USB to Null Modem Serial Adapter Cable provides RS-232 DCE serial communications support for desktop or laptop computers. It resolves DCE/DTE conflicts without the need for additional cross-wired serial cables. The adapter connects to a computer via a USB Type-A port, adding an RS-232 serial DB/DE-9 (female) connector.
Designed for secure connections, it features pre-installed and removable slotted D-Sub thumbscrews, with the option to install included DB-9 Nuts for compatibility with other serial peripheral devices or cables.
