INSTRUCTIONS Thank you for purchasing a VEVOR product.Please read ALL the instructions before using your machine. if used according to these instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance. Read the instruction manual. IMPORTANT: In order to make sure that you can operate the machine correctly, read this instruction carefully before operation and keep it properly for future reference. Please be sure to read the precautions and safety rules in this page to ensure your safe use. This manual will outline safety warnings and precautions, operating, maintenance and cleaning. The warnings and instructions reviewed in this manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. Caution and common sense are not built into this product, since we believe that the uses will comply with these codes. 1. Work area safety a. Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents. b. Keep children and bystanders away while operating, distractions will cause you to lose control. 2. Personal safety a. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating the tool. Do not use the tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating Chain Vise may result in serious personal injury. b. Use safety equipment. Safety equipment such as dust mask, non-skid shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduced personal injuries. -2- c. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts. d. Store idle PRESS JAWS out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the PRESS JAWS . This tool is dangerous in the hands of untrained users, who can break fingers or break feet and more. e. Inspect before every use. Do not use it if parts are loose or damaged. f. Do not apply this unit to any other purposes than the indicated usage. g. DO NOT CLEAN IT WITH ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL. 3. Service Have your Press jaw serviced by a qualified service technician using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the Press jaw Kit is maintained. WARNING! INTRODUCTION VEVOR Black Iron Jaw Model V12(V15/V22/V28), It is suitable for V-shape 12mm (15mm /22mm /28mm) stainless steel or iron pipes, with jaws crafted from high-hardness and high-strength steel. This product is user-friendly and easy to handle, offering exceptional durability. The jaw kit are suitable for VEVOR standard electric crimping pliers and can be utilized with other brands of electric crimping pliers as well. The specific product adaptation conditions shall be determined based on the actual physical receipt. -3- ASSEMBLY Numbers refer to attached parts list. Operation of press jaw NO. 1 Introduce of use Choose the suitable press jaw. Check if the jaw can open and close easily. Push and turn anticlockwise to pull out pin. Insert the jaw into the head. Push the pin back. Check if the pin is fully inserted,to avoid pop out(Please refer to the according the tool Instruction Manual). Picture Insert jaw -4- Open the jaw, put in the pipe and fitting(make sure the pipe and fitting connection meets the requirement, refer to 2 GB/T19228.1 or JWWAG116 2001) Put in pipe and fitting correctly The pipe and jaw cavity should 3 be vertical Press the trigger to start work, retract the piston to the starting position when the tool reached the max output Please keep a close eye on it and make sure that the jaw is fully 4 closed after the pressing is completed. (It will cause leakage when the jaw isn't fully closed or choose the improper jaw) -5- Open jaw and pick out pipe after pressing, be careful for the sharp 5 edge which generates during press. Sectional picture of fitting after pressing: The groove of fitting 6 sealing parts should be put into the groove of jaw when press. Otherwise the sealing maybe broken, and cause leakage. CAUTION: 1. The operation staff must have participated in professional training, and the construction engineering company must have the corresponding construction qualification recognized by the state. 2. Pressing tool, pressing jaw, adaptor or ring jaw are only for the corresponding piping system and fittings. Use of other ways or modified standard accessories for other applications may damage tools and accessories, and may even result in personal injury. -6- Important information: 1). The jaw is a consumable part. When it is often used for pressing, the material will be fatigued and cracks will occur. A heavily worn jaw is prone to breakage, especially if it is used improperly (such as oversized fittings, skewed press, etc.) or illegal operation. 2).Check the jaw for any breakage, cracks, or component jams and any other unfavorable factors that compromise safety and normal operation, either periodically or before each use. If you find any problems, please stop using them immediately, and return them to the professional repairing manufacturer or return to the factory for repair until the problem is solved. 3). Once you find the following phenomenon, please stop using it and replace it with a new one! a. the board is cracked b. the jaw arm is cracked and deformed c. the jaw is cracked, scratched, sunken or severely worn d. other anomalies 4). It is forbidden to disassemble the tools by yourself. It is strictly forbidden to weld, polish, drill or make other changes to the die accessories! 5). Do not put any part of the human body, such as your fingers, into the jaw ring! 6). This tool is a high-strength, heavy-duty appliance. Please strictly follow the instructions and precautions! CAUTION: Improper operation can lead to leaks at the joint 1). Please ensure that the press fitting specifications are the same as the jaw. 2). It should be confirmed that the jaw has been completely closed after the pressing is completed. 3). When pressing, make sure that the jaw along with the pressing tool is properly positioned on the flange of the fitting. 4). If the jaw cannot be completely closed when pressed, it should be sent to the tool dealer or manufacturer for repair. 5). If the jaw connection is incorrectly squeezed, replace a new jaw and do not continue to use it. -7- 6). If there is a burr on the pipe joint after pressing, it should be handed over to the tool dealer or manufacturer for inspection. Jaw cleaning and maintenance 1) . Clean the residue accumulated in the pressing jaws in time. Cleaning the residue can be done with a scouring pad or steel wool, but it can't be cleaned with something harder (such as sandpaper, filet, etc.), which will accelerate the wear on the edge of the cavity. 2). After each pressing is completed, remove the impurities and dust on the surface of the jaws, especially the gap at the bottom of the jaws; then rub the lubricant on the surface of the jaw, especially the pin and jaws, and then put it into the dedicated toolbox. 3). It is strictly forbidden to collide with any metal. It is strictly forbidden to contact any jaws with any sharp object. 4). Check the jaw return spring before each use. Normally, the jaw can be easily opened and closed by applying a finger. 5).It is recommended to check the wear of the jaw once a year .
