Water Usage Guidelines
The appliance is designed to be used with tap water.
For areas with hard water: To prevent scale build-up and prolong the appliance's lifespan, it is recommended to mix tap water with an equal amount of distilled or demineralized water.
Warning: Do not use the following in the appliance, as they may cause water spitting, brown staining, or damage:
- Perfumed water
- Water from tumble dryers
- Vinegar
- Starch
- Descaling agents
- Ironing aids
- Chemically descaled water
- Other chemicals
Operating Your Garment Steamer
Getting Started:
- Plug the appliance into a power outlet [power-symbol].
- Press the steam setting button and the steam trigger simultaneously.
- The device will heat up in approximately 30 seconds.
- Select your desired steam setting: ECO for energy saving or MAX for maximum steam power.
Steaming Technique:
- For best de-wrinkling results, ensure the steam plate is in full contact with the garment.
- Hold the garment by the bottom edge and pull it to stretch it while steaming.
Placement:
- To protect your horizontal surfaces from direct contact with the hot steam plate, place the steamer head on a heat-resistant layer (e.g., a silicone mat) or lay it sideways on the surface.
Storage
After use, allow the appliance to cool down. The storage bag provided can be used to keep the steamer clean and protected.
Instructions show placing the garment on a hanger, steaming it, and then storing the steamer in its bag.
Descaling and Maintenance
Regular descaling is important for maintaining the performance and longevity of your garment steamer. Follow these steps:
- Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
- Press and hold the steam setting button and the steam trigger simultaneously until 2 LED lights blink.
- Steam and hot water will be released for approximately 1 minute.
- The ECO mode light will blink to indicate the product is back to heating up.
- Wait for 1 minute.
- Rinse the steam head.
- Wait for 60 minutes for the device to cool down and dry.
- Plug the appliance back in.
- Press the steam button for 30 seconds to complete the process.
The appliance is suitable for use with tap water. For hard water areas, mixing with distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent scale build-up.
