CREWORKS Digital Ultrasonic Cleaner User Manual

Thank you for choosing CREWORKS products. Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.

Introduction

Ultrasonic cleaning utilizes a cavitation effect created by high-frequency vibrations in a liquid medium. This cavitation generates microbubbles that rapidly implode, creating a powerful scrubbing action effective even in hard-to-reach areas.

Cavitation Effect: The process involves the formation and collapse of microscopic bubbles in a liquid, generating intense localized energy that dislodges contaminants from surfaces.

Operation

  1. Connect the drain valve to a sink or facility using a hose (not included). Ensure the valve is closed. Fill the tank with appropriate cleaning fluid, ensuring the level stays below the maximum height mark even after adding items.
  2. Gently place items into the tank, preferably using the provided basket. Avoid overlapping items for optimal cleaning. Ensure items are submerged, and the fluid level is below the maximum mark. Remove excess fluid if necessary using the drain valve. Replace the lid.
  3. Connect the device to a grounded 3-prong outlet using the provided power cord.
  4. Turn the main power switch (located at the back) to the 'I' position. The current fluid temperature will display.
  5. Set the cleaning time using the / buttons above 'TIME'. For extended time (1-99 minutes), press and hold the button above 'TIME' until '99' is displayed.
  6. Press the button above 'TIME' to start cleaning. The oscillation indicator will light up, and the timer will count down.
  7. Set the desired temperature using the / buttons above 'TEMP'. Press the button above 'TEMP' to start heating. The heating indicator will turn on. Press again to stop heating.
  8. The device operates in standard intensity by default. Press 'GENTLE' to switch to gentle cleaning mode (indicator light will turn on). Press again to return to standard mode.
  9. The device operates continuously by default. Press 'DEGAS' to toggle to periodic degassing (10s cleaning, 5s rest; indicator light will turn on). Press again to return to continuous oscillation.
  10. The device stops automatically when the timer reaches zero. Press the button above 'TIME' at any time to pause or stop early. Press again to resume.
  11. When finished, turn the main power switch to 'O' and disconnect the power cord.
  12. Open the drain valve by turning its handle 90° to align with your hose. Drain the tank completely, then close the valve.
  13. Remove the basket and items from the tank. Rinse items with clean water if necessary.
  14. Dry the exterior of items, the tank, and the basket with a soft cloth or allow them to air dry.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Solutions
Device does not turn on or stops working.
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the device and a suitable power source.
  • Check the power cord for damage; replace if necessary.
  • Verify the main power switch at the back is ON.
  • Check the fuse: Open the cover near the power inlet, locate the F10AL250V (5x20mm) fuse, and replace it with an identical one. If the issue persists, consult a technician for wiring or power source issues.
Insufficient cleaning performance.
  • Ensure the tank and basket are clean before use.
  • Replace the cleaning fluid if it is too contaminated.
  • Verify that the cleaning fluid, temperature, and timer settings are appropriate for the items being cleaned.
  • Degas items for at least 5 minutes and consider soaking in heated solution before restarting ultrasonic cleaning.
