06. FAQ

  1. How to watch the camera on a computer? Log in to www.ucloudcam.com via a web browser using your registered username and password.
  2. Why is video recording intermittent? Video files have size limitations. When a file nears its limit, a new file is created, causing a brief interval between recordings.
  3. Why is the camera disconnected? Check your Wi-Fi connection and power supply. Restart the camera. If the issue persists, remove the camera from the app and reconnect it.
  4. How to add a family email account? On the app homepage, click "Settings" [⚙️], select "Shared device", and add the family member's email address.
  5. How many people can access an account simultaneously? While there is no limit to the number of people who can access an account, the same camera can support simultaneous viewing by up to 3 users.
  6. Cannot recognize TF card? Ensure the TF card meets the required quality standards. A weak Wi-Fi signal may also affect the card's readability.
  7. After the cloud service expires, the recording timeline is blank. Cloud video playback is unavailable after the service expires. If no TF card is inserted, the camera will not record videos. Check the "Check TF card" status if the card is functional but video files are missing. If the app shows the card as normal but no video is recorded, format the TF card. If problems persist, replace the TF card.
  8. Cannot read the wireless network name when connecting with an iPhone? Ensure that location permissions are enabled for both iOS and Android devices. Connect the iPhone to the Wi-Fi network through configuration, then add the camera; the network name should be read automatically.
  9. Why can't I switch to another account to configure the camera Wi-Fi? A camera can only be bound to a single account. Other accounts can view the camera feed through the sharing mechanism. If another account needs to reconfigure the camera, the camera must first be deleted from the current account's app.
  10. How to connect my camera to another Wi-Fi?
    • A (Changing Wi-Fi without moving location): Navigate to Parameter setting >> Network information >> Select Wi-Fi.
    • B (Camera replaced or no other Wi-Fi found): Reset your device. The app homepage will display "device offline". Click "Troubleshooting", reset the camera, and then add the Wi-Fi connection again.
