Setup Steps

1 Connect the Antenna

1. Attach the antenna to the antenna terminal on the top left or top right of the rear panel, perpendicular to the panel.
2. Turn the antenna clockwise until it is fully connected. Do not overtighten.
3. Rotate the antenna upwards for optimal reception.

Note: Both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functions require the antenna.

Optional: If you are connecting the PMA-900HNE to a wired network, connect an Ethernet cable (not supplied) between the amplifier and your router. If you are connecting the amplifier to a wireless network, do not connect an Ethernet cable.

2 Connect the Speakers

Connect speaker cables between the PMA-900HNE and the speakers.

3 Connect the Power

Connect the power cable between the PMA-900HNE and a wall outlet.

4 Insert Batteries into the Remote Control

To remove batteries, follow the reverse procedure.

5 Complete PMA-900HNE Setup Using the HEOS App

1. Scan the QR code to download the HEOS app to your mobile device. Then, open the HEOS app.
2. Launch the HEOS app and follow the instructions within the app.

6 Add Device (HEOS App)

If you already have the HEOS app and at least one HEOS-enabled device set up, follow these steps to add the PMA-900HNE to your wireless network.

1. Select the settings ⚙️ icon in the top right corner of the main 'Home' menu to display the settings menu.
2. From the HEOS app's settings menu, select 'Add Device' and follow the instructions:

Playing Music - Bluetooth

1. Press the Bluetooth® button to select Bluetooth. When used for the first time, the amplifier automatically enters pairing mode, and 'Bluetooth Pairing...' is displayed on the screen.
2. When used for the first time, the amplifier automatically enters pairing mode and displays on the screen.
3. Select 'Denon PMA-900HNE' from the Bluetooth device list on your mobile device.
4. Play music using any app on your device.

To pair with other Bluetooth devices, press and hold the Bluetooth button on the remote control until 'Bluetooth Pairing...' is displayed on the unit.
