Overview of possible settings
Please check three settings in the Setup menu as described below before calibration.
Parameter P7: Weighing capacity of the scale
- 00: Scale with 500 kg capacity (correct for PS1000 scale)
- 01: Scale with 600 kg capacity
- 02: Scale with 750 kg capacity
- 03: Scale with 800 kg capacity
- 04: Scale with 1000 kg capacity (correct for PS2000 scale)
- 05: Scale with 1200 kg capacity
- 06: Scale with 1500 kg capacity
- 07: Scale with 2000 kg capacity
Parameter P9: Decimal places for calibration weight
0: No decimal places
1: One decimal place
2, 3, 4: Number of decimal places
5: No decimal digit and value multiplied by 10
(If your calibration weight requires a decimal place, e.g., 310.5 kg)
Parameter P10: Calibration unit
- 0: kg
- 1: lb
Procedure for changing settings
- Switch on the scale and wait until the normal weight display appears.
- Press and hold UNIT and ON/OFF/ZERO simultaneously for approximately three seconds. The display will show SETUP.
- Press TARE to cycle through the menu items. Navigate to P7, P9, and P10 to check the settings. A dot and the current value of the setting parameter will appear next to each menu item.
- Press UNIT to change the setting according to the list above.
- Press TARE again to save the setting and move to the next menu item.
- Press ON/OFF/ZERO to exit the menu.
Calibration Procedure
- Switch on the scale and wait for normal weight display.
- Press and hold TARE and ON/OFF/ZERO simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds. The display will show CAL.-? Scale is ready for calibration.
- Press TARE to start the calibration process. (You can exit by pressing ON/OFF/ZERO).
- The display will show CAP. -- and then the value set for the full weighing capacity. The display will then show d. -- and then the value set for the resolution.
- The display will show CAL.PO. Please remove any weight from the scale and press TARE to confirm the empty scale. Numbers in the display will briefly flash to confirm.
- The display will show CAL.P1. Please load the first calibration weight onto the scale. Use the HOLD/PRINT buttons (next digit) and UNITS (increase digit) to input the value of the first calibration weight, and confirm with TARE. Numbers in the display will briefly flash to confirm.
- The display will show CAL.P2. Please load the second calibration weight onto the scale. (The second calibration weight can be the same as the first calibration weight if high accuracy is not required). Use the HOLD/PRINT buttons (next digit) and UNITS (increase digit) to input the value of the second calibration weight, and confirm with TARE. Numbers in the display will briefly flash to confirm.
- The display will show CAL.PO again. Please remove any weight from the scale and press TARE to confirm the empty scale. Numbers in the display will briefly flash to confirm. The display will restart and return to normal weighing mode, showing the maximum capacity and then the current weight.
Note: If the display shows CAL.Er, an error has occurred. The calibration will restart automatically after a short period, showing CAL.PO again.
The calibration requires calibration weights of at least 100 kg (PS1000 / PS2000) or 150 kg (PS3000).
