Mounting the Monitor Arm
Using the C-Clamp Mount
- Insert the Pole Cap into the top of the Pole. (Diagram shows cap sliding onto pole end).
- Slide the Cable Management Clips onto the Pole, or clip one on. (Diagram shows clips sliding onto pole).
- Align the three Screw Holes on the top of the C-Clamp with the three Screw Holes on the bottom of the Pole.
- Insert the three Pole Assembly Screws through the Screw Holes on the top of the C-Clamp and into the Screw Holes on the bottom of the Pole.
- Using the 4 mm Hex Key, tighten the three Pole Assembly Screws. Avoid over-tightening.
- Remove the backing from the five Rubber Pads.
- Apply the adhesive side of the Rubber Pads to the underside of the top of the C-Clamp. (Diagram shows C-clamp with pads applied).
- While supporting the weight of the Monitor Arm, slide the C-Clamp over the edge of the Mounting Surface.
- Using your hand, tighten the Knob until the C-Clamp is pressed tightly against the Mounting Surface. (Diagram shows C-clamp attached to desk).
- Using the 3 mm Hex Key, loosen the Adjustment Screw on the Collar.
- Position the Collar at the desired height for the monitors.
- Using the 3 mm Hex Key, tighten the Adjustment Screw on the side of the Collar to secure it to the Pole.
- Clip the four Arm Assembly Clips into place along the Swivel Arm Assembly. (Diagram shows clips attaching to arm).
- Slide the Swivel Arm Assembly over the top of the Pole, until it contacts the Collar. (Diagram shows arm assembly sliding onto pole).
- While holding the weight of the Swivel Arm Assembly, use the 6 mm Hex Key to tighten the Adjustment Screw on the Swivel Arm Assembly to secure it in place. (Diagram shows tightening screw with hex key).
Using the Grommet Mount
- Insert the Pole Cap into the top of the Pole. (Diagram shows cap sliding onto pole end).
- Slide the Cable Management Clips onto the Pole, or clip one on. (Diagram shows clips sliding onto pole).
- Align the three Screw Holes on the bottom of the Pole with the Grommet Base Plate.
- Remove the Knob from the C-Clamp assembly (if applicable, or refer to diagram for grommet knob removal).
- Remove the backing from the five Rubber Pads.
- Apply the adhesive side of the Rubber Pads to the side of the Grommet Base Plate without the protrusion.
- Align the Protrusion on the Grommet Base Plate with the Notch on the bottom of the Pole. (Diagram shows alignment).
- Insert the Protrusion on the Grommet Base Plate into the Notch on the bottom of the Pole.
- While holding the Grommet Base Plate against the bottom of the Pole, align the center hole on the Grommet Base Plate with the Grommet Hole in the Mounting Surface.
- On the underside of the Mounting Surface, align the Grommet Plate with the Grommet Hole.
- Insert the Knob through the Grommet Plate and Grommet Hole, and into the Grommet Base Plate and Pole. (Diagram shows grommet assembly).
- Tighten the Knob until the Grommet Plate and Knob are pushing tightly against the bottom of the Mounting Surface. (Diagram shows tightening knob).
- Using the 3 mm Hex Key, loosen the Adjustment Screw on the Collar.
- Position the Collar at the desired height for the monitors.
- Using the 3 mm Hex Key, tighten the Adjustment Screw on the side of the Collar to secure it to the Pole.
- Clip the four Arm Assembly Clips into place along the Swivel Arm Assembly. (Diagram shows clips attaching to arm).
- Slide the Swivel Arm Assembly over the top of the Pole, until it contacts the Collar. (Diagram shows arm assembly sliding onto pole).
- While holding the weight of the Swivel Arm Assembly, use the 6 mm Hex Key to tighten the Adjustment Screw on the Swivel Arm Assembly to secure it in place. (Diagram shows tightening screw with hex key).
Attaching the Monitors
Attaching the Monitors (Flush)
Note: It is recommended that two people are used to mount the monitors.
- Determine the size and length of screw to use to mount the Monitors to the Monitor Mounts (M4 x 12 mm or M5 x 12 mm, if appropriate).
- Lay the Monitor face down on a flat, level surface.
- Align the Mounting Holes on the VESA Mount with the Screw Holes on the back of the Monitor, ensuring the Mounting Flange on the VESA Mount is at the top.
- Align four Washers with the Mounting Holes on the VESA Mount.
- Insert four Screws through the Washers and Mounting Holes and into the Screw Holes in the back of the Monitor. (Diagram shows VESA plate attached to monitor back).
- Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver (sold separately), tighten the Screws. Be careful not to over-tighten.
- Repeat steps 1 - 6 to mount the second Monitor.
Attaching the Monitors (Recessed)
Note: It is recommended that two people are used to mount the monitors.
- Determine the size and length of screw to use to mount the Monitors to the Monitor Mounts (M4 x 12 mm or M5 x 12 mm, if appropriate).
- Lay the Monitor face down on a flat, level surface.
- Align four Spacers with the Screw Holes on the back of the Monitor.
- Align the Mounting Holes on the VESA Mount with the Spacers on the back of the Monitor, ensuring the Mounting Flange on the VESA Mount is at the top.
- Align four Washers with the Mounting Holes on the VESA Mount.
- Insert four Screws through the Washers and Mounting Holes and into the Screw Holes in the back of the Monitor. (Diagram shows VESA plate with spacers attached to monitor back).
- Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver (sold separately), tighten the Screws. Be careful not to over-tighten.
- Repeat steps 1 - 6 to mount the second Monitor.
Mounting the Monitors to the Arm
- While supporting the weight of the Monitor, slide the VESA Mount down onto the Swivel Arm Assembly. Align the hole on the Mounting Flange (on the VESA Mount) with the Micro-Adjustment Screw Protrusion on the Monitor Holder. (Diagram shows monitors being attached to the arm).
- When the Mounting Flange on the VESA Mount is seated on the Micro-Adjustment Screw Protrusion, mount the Micro-Adjustment Knob on top of it.
- Insert the Micro-Adjustment Screw through the center of the Micro-Adjustment Knob and into the Micro-Adjustment Screw Protrusion.
- Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver, tighten the Micro-Adjustment Screw. (Diagram shows tightening the knob).
- Adjust the Monitor tilt until it is in the desired position.
- Using the 6 mm Hex Key, tighten the Adjustment Screw on the side of the Monitor Holder to secure the Monitor in place.
- Repeat steps 1 - 6 to mount the second Monitor.
Adjusting the Monitors
Tilt Adjustment
- Using the 6 mm Hex Key, loosen the Adjustment Screw located on the side of the Monitor Mount.
- Adjust the tilt of the Monitor. (Diagram shows tilt adjustment).
- Once the Monitor is in the desired position, tighten the Adjustment Screw to secure the Monitor in place.
Micro Adjustments
Making micro adjustments will slightly move the monitor up and down.
- Insert the 6 mm Hex Key into the center-top of the Micro-Adjustment Knob and turn the Hex Key clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the Monitor up and down. (Diagram shows micro adjustment).
Routing the Cables
Monitor Cables can be routed along the Swivel Arm Assembly through the Cable Management Clips, and then down along the Pole through the Cable Management Clip. (Diagram shows cable routing along the arm and pole).
Once the Monitor Arm is assembled, the Hex Keys can be stored in the front of the Cable Management Clip on the Pole. (Diagram shows hex key holder).
