Preparation Before Installation
- Ensure you have a drill [drill].
- Installation requires two or more people working together.
- Install on a carpeted surface to prevent scratches.
Installation Steps
Follow these steps carefully to assemble your adjustable desk.
STEP 1: Install the Side Brackets
Attach the side brackets (labeled 'F' in the parts list, used here as 'F x1') to the ends of the beam using four 'A' screws.
[Diagram Description: The beam is shown horizontally. Two side brackets are positioned at each end of the beam. Screws are inserted through the bracket holes into the beam.]
STEP 2: Apply the Damping Pad
Peel off the adhesive backing from the shock absorber (damping) pad and apply it to the designated area.
[Diagram Description: A pad with adhesive backing is shown. The backing is being peeled off.]
STEP 3: Install the Columns
Attach the columns (labeled 'Column x2' in parts list) to the side brackets on the beam using eight 'D' screws and one 'F' connector/bracket.
[Diagram Description: The beam with attached side brackets is shown. Two columns are being attached vertically to the side brackets using screws.]
STEP 4: Install Pedestals
Attach the pedestals (labeled 'Pedestal x2' in parts list) to the bottom of the columns using eight 'C' screws.
[Diagram Description: The desk frame (beam, side brackets, columns) is shown. Pedestals are being attached to the bottom of each column using screws.]
STEP 5: Install the Tabletop
Place the assembled desk frame onto the underside of your tabletop. If using a splicing tabletop, the necessary accessories are located in pockets on the tabletop.
Secure the frame to the tabletop using eight 'B' screws and eighteen 'G' screws. For initial attachment, install diagonally opposite screws first, but do not tighten them completely until all screws are pre-installed.
[Diagram Description: The desk frame is shown upside down, positioned on the underside of a tabletop. Screws are being inserted through the frame's mounting points into the tabletop.]
STEP 6: Adjust and Secure Tabletop
Align the beam with the bracket holes and the tabletop holes. Ensure the beam is not stretched beyond its designated hole position.
Adjust the beam to fit, then tighten the screws (two 'E' screws are mentioned here, likely for beam adjustment/securing).
[Diagram Description: Close-up views showing the beam being adjusted and secured. A warning graphic indicates the maximum extension limit for the beam.]
STEP 7: Install the Handset
Mount the handset to the underside of the tabletop. You may need to use self-prepared tools for this step.
[Diagram Description: The handset is shown being attached to the underside of the tabletop, likely with screws.]
STEP 8: Connect the Cables
Connect the cables from the columns and the handset to the main control unit (implied). Ensure all connections are secure.
[Diagram Description: Cables are shown being plugged into various ports on the desk frame and handset.]
STEP 9: Install the Baffle
Attach the baffle to the frame. Two methods are provided:
Method 1: Secure with screws (four 'D' screws and four 'B' screws, plus one 'F' connector/bracket).
Method 2: Secure with screws (four 'D' screws and four 'B' screws, plus one 'F' connector/bracket).
Note: Do not tighten 'D' screws completely; tighten 'B' screws fully. If the crossbeam exceeds 1720mm, use 'D' screws for the baffle installation.
[Diagram Description: Two methods are shown for attaching a baffle panel to the desk frame, using different screw combinations and a bracket.]
STEP 10: Flip the Table
With the help of at least two people, carefully flip the assembled desk upright.
[Diagram Description: Two people are shown lifting and flipping the desk frame with the tabletop attached.]
Handset Operation
Familiarize yourself with the handset controls for height adjustment and memory functions.
Button Control for Height Adjustment
Use the [up-arrow] and [down-arrow] buttons to adjust the desk height. The current height is displayed on the screen.
[Diagram Description: A close-up of the handset showing the up and down arrow buttons and the display screen.]
Height Memory Function
Saving a Height: Adjust the desk to your desired height using the [up-arrow] or [down-arrow] buttons. Press the 'M' (save) button; the display will show '-'. Then, press one of the preset number buttons ([1-button], [2-button], [3-button], [4-button]) to save the height to that position. The display will show confirmation like 'S-1', 'S-2', etc.
Recalling a Height: Press the desired preset number button ([1-button], [2-button], [3-button], or [4-button]) to automatically move the desk to the saved height.
Suggestion: Set your comfortable sitting height as '1' and your comfortable standing height as '2'. You can use the other presets for additional preferred heights.
[Diagram Description: The handset display shows different saved height indicators (S-1, S-2, etc.).]
Adjusting Collision Sensitivity (Optional)
To adjust collision sensitivity, simultaneously press and hold the [up-arrow] and [down-arrow] keys for 5 seconds. Each operation cycles through four levels: A-0 (off), A-1 (low), A-2 (medium), A-3 (high).
When the desk encounters an obstacle during movement, it will rebound to provide protection. If the display does not show any of these codes after the key press, the collision prevention function may not be available on your model.
[Diagram Description: The handset display shows 'A-0', 'A-1', 'A-2', 'A-3' to indicate different sensitivity levels.]
Troubleshooting and Important Notes
Error Code Processing
Reset Function (Display shows "AS" or "rst"): Press and hold the [down-arrow] button until the desk reaches its lowest position, then it will rebound slightly. The display will show the lowest height. Release the button to complete the reset.
Error E01 or E02: Allow the table to rest for at least 18 minutes before using it again.
Other Error Codes: If the [down-arrow] button is unresponsive, check cable connections. Disconnect power for at least 10 seconds, then reconnect. The display may show "755" or "54". Press and hold the [down-arrow] button to reset.
If problems persist, contact customer service.
