Detailed Description

Power Supply:

The remote control operates on DC4-8.4V. It can be powered by four AA (No. 5) batteries or a 2S lithium battery inserted into the battery compartment. An external power supply can also be connected to the DC power socket on the right side of the remote control. When using an external power supply, remove the batteries from the compartment first.

Note: The DC port is not a charging port; it is for external power connection only, such as for simulator teaching.

First Use and Frequency Pairing

First Use:

Upon first use, compare the frequency between the transmitter and receiver. After successful frequency comparison, perform a short-distance test by holding the transmitter 10-15 meters away from the receiver and operating the transmitter's rocker. If the model responds correctly, the transmitter and receiver are working properly.

Frequency Pairing:

To pair the remote control and receiver:

  1. Turn off the remote control and power on the receiver.
  2. Press the frequency control button on the receiver. The indicator light will flash quickly, indicating it has entered frequency control mode.
  3. Turn on the remote control. The receiver indicator light will turn on, signifying successful signal reception.

Low Voltage Alarm

A ticking sound and blinking power indicator on the remote control signal low battery. This occurs when the voltage of 4 x AA batteries drops below 4V or the voltage of 2 x Li-ion batteries drops below 7V. The remote control needs to be charged.

Suggestions for Safe Shutdown

To ensure safety:

  1. After the model's motor stops running, first turn off the model's power supply.
  2. Then, turn off the transmitter power.

Remote Calibration

Follow these steps for remote calibration:

  1. Pull the left rocker to the upper right corner and the right rocker to the upper left corner.
  2. Simultaneously, turn on the remote control's power to enter the joystick calibration state.
  3. Pull both joysticks to their maximum extents: left, right, up, and down.
  4. Return the rockers to the center position.
  5. Finally, pull the D/R switch to complete the calibration.

Fine Adjustment Switch Configuration

The fine adjustment switches control different channels:

The diagrams illustrate the left-hand and right-hand modes for these adjustments.

Operation Page Description

Boot page:

Displays the Microzone logo and version number (V1.0.0).

Main page:

Shows:

Channel monitoring:

Press the <MONITOR> key to enter channel monitoring, which displays information for channels 1-8. Press <MONITOR> again to exit.

Key Lock Functionality

To lock the controls: Press and hold the <LOCK> key for 2 seconds. While locked, the <MENU>, <EXIT>, <MONITOR>, <UP>, and <DOWN> keys will have no effect, and a lock symbol will appear. To unlock, press and hold the <LOCK> key again for 2 seconds.

System Setting

From the main page, press the <MENU> key to access System Setting. Within System Setting, use the <UP> or <DOWN> keys to select options and press <MENU> to enter.

Options include:

Selecting the Receiver

In the System Setting menu, use the <UP> or <DOWN> keys to select the desired receiver model (e.g., 8RE-V2, MC9002, etc.) and press <MENU> to confirm.

Rocker Settings

Configure rocker settings for left-hand or right-hand throttle control. Use the <UP> or <DOWN> keys to select the desired mode and press <MENU> to finish.

The left and right-hand levers can be switched by removing the back cover and exchanging the circlips and center levers.

Language Setting

In the System Setting menu, select Language Setting. Use the <UP> or <DOWN> keys to choose between Chinese (中文) and English (English), then press <MENU> to confirm.

Failure to Control Protection

This function activates when the receiver loses the transmitter signal. It returns the servos to a preset runaway protection value to prevent model damage. Adjust the runaway protection value using the <UP>/<DOWN> keys and confirm with the <MENU> key or <EXIT> button.

Trip Setting

Trip setting limits the servo's range of motion. Use the <UP>/<DOWN> keys to select the option, press <MENU>, adjust the range amount, and confirm. Alternatively, press <EXIT> twice, select <YES>, and press <MENU> to finish.

Restore Out (Factory Reset)

To reset all settings to their original values, select <YES> using the <UP> or <DOWN> keys and press the <MENU> key to confirm.

Model Setting

In the main screen, press <MENU>, then <UP> or <DOWN> to select Model Setup, and press <MENU> to enter.

Model types include:

Select the appropriate model type (Fixed Wing, Multi-Axis, Boat, Car) using <UP>/<DOWN> and confirm with <MENU>.

Mixed Control Setting

This feature links two or more receiver channels to a single transmitter channel for coordinated control. Mixing settings vary by model type:

Select the desired mixing option using <UP>/<DOWN> and confirm with <MENU>.

Channel Reversal

Reverse the operation direction of channels 1-8. Select the channel, use <UP>/<DOWN> to choose the reversal option, and press <MENU> to finish.

Example: Using Channel 1, a blackened rectangle icon on the left causes the servo to swing left-to-right when the rocker is moved left-to-right. An icon on the right causes the servo to swing right-to-left.

Car/Boat Mode Speed Lock

Enables speed lock for cars or boats with differential construction, ensuring they travel at a constant speed. Select <ON> using <UP>/<DOWN>, press <MENU> to finish, and toggle the speed lock switch. The indicator blinks when ON and is steady when OFF.

Fixed Wing/Multi-Axis Mode Coaching Function

This function provides training for beginners, detecting errors, offering skill suggestions, and simulating flight scenarios. Select <ON> using <UP>/<DOWN>, press <MENU> to finish, and toggle the coach function switch. The indicator flashes when ON and is steady when OFF.

Standard Configuration List

Packaging includes:

Matters Needing Attention

Safety Precautions:

  1. This product is not a toy and is not suitable for children under 12. Keep out of reach of children.
  2. Do not use in harsh weather conditions (thunderstorms, snow, etc.).
  3. Avoid using in wet conditions, as water ingress can cause short circuits.
  4. Be aware of signal interference sources: mobile phone towers, high-voltage power lines, communication antennas, military radar, and areas with complex wireless communication.
  5. Do not operate when tired, unwell, or under the influence of substances.
  6. Keep the model within your line of sight. Obstacles can block signals.
  7. Ensure correct installation of the remote control and model, with all controls functioning in the same direction to prevent damage.
  8. If the remote control distance is too far, control may be lost. Shorten the distance. Low battery voltage can also cause signal loss. Replace batteries promptly when the POWER indicator flashes and alarms.
  9. When shutting down, always turn off the receiver's power supply first, then the remote control. Failure to do so may result in loss of control.
  10. Improper use can lead to serious injury or death. Operate with care and follow instructions.
  11. Microzone's 2.4G wireless transmission systems use paired remote controls and receivers. Other company's products are not compatible.
