Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before starting and ensure you are familiar with the operation of your new Air Matrix.
User Instructions
Turning On/Off: Press the ON/OFF button to turn the fan on.
Fan Speed: When switched on the fan will automatically start on the lowest speed. Press the Speed button to select the fan speed required: 1 – Low, 2 – Medium, 3 – High.
Oscillation: Press the OSCIL button and the fan will automatically oscillate left and right. Pressing the OSCIL button again and the fan will remain in its current position. The fan can be adjusted horizontally by holding the head and moving up and down. This should only be done when the fan is switched off.
Timer: Open the timing switch and enter the reservation setting. Each time you press the timing add 1 hour, and the maximum time can be 12 hours.
Remote Control: The remote control allows for the same functions. Point the remote control at the fan and select the function required.
Warnings and Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
- For domestic indoor use only.
- Before use, check thoroughly for any defects and do not use if defects are found. Take care not to drop the appliance as heavy impacts may cause internal damage.
- Before connecting the appliance, check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the appliance is in accordance with the mains voltage in your home.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
- Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
- The use of any accessory or attachments not recommended by Coopers of Stortford may cause injuries and invalidate any warranty you may have.
- Do not let the power cable hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near heat sources.
- Use on a level, stable surface.
- Do not cover the item in any way when in use as this may cause overheating.
- Do not use this appliance for any other use than the intended use it is designed for.
- Ensure there is sufficient distance between this appliance and other items on the work surface or workstation, or sufficient distance between the appliance and the confines of the area in which it is situated. We recommend minimum clearance around all faces of at least 10cm.
- To protect electric shock, do not immerse power cable, plug or appliance, in water or any other liquid.
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power cable or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. We recommend that the power cable is not kinked or stored in a twisted manner, and that you regularly check its condition.
- Do not leave unattended.
- Always switch off after cooking or if you have to leave the room.
- Allow to cool before carrying or placing in storage.
- Any repairs must be conducted by a qualified electrician or electrical service agent.
- Please check whether the used voltage is the same as the voltage marked on the fan before use.
- Do not put any finger or point into the mesh enclosure while the fan is running.
- Children shall use this fan under adult supervision to prevent accidents.
- Do not place the fan on a tilting ground to prevent turnover.
- Before using it, please firstly check the power cord and whether the plug is damaged or not. The damaged power cord must be replaced by professionals from the manufacturer's maintenance department or similar departments to avoid risk.
- Don't connect to power if the fan assembly is not complete. Please cutoff power while moving the fan.
- Do not pull the plug out with a wet hand to prevent the dangers of electrocution or electric shock.
- Infants and the elderly shall not use the high-speed gear wind speed for a long-time direct blowing.
- Please keep off high temperature, high humidity, high pH products, insecticide, curtain and other goods which may be sucked into the fan.
Plug Wiring (UK & Ireland)
This appliance is fitted with a molded BS 1363 13-amp plug. This is fitted with a 13-amp fuse. If you must replace the fuse, only those that are ASTA or BSI approved to BS1362 should be used. If there is a fuse cover fitted, this cover must be re-fitted after changing the fuse. If the fuse cover is lost or damaged the plug must not be used. Spare fuse holders and fuses are available from electrical outlets. If the socket outlets in your home or office are not suitable for this product's plug, the plug must be removed and disposed of safely. Attempts to insert the plug into the wrong socket is likely to cause electric hazard.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
- Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
- Do NOT immerse in water. Risk of electric shock.
- Do NOT use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean this appliance.
- Wipe surfaces with a soft dry cloth.
- Allow to dry thoroughly before further use.
- Store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
- Make sure that the power is cutoff before cleaning this product.
- No grinding tools and solvents that may damage the product surface are allowed to clean the product. You can clean it with the cleanser essence and then dry it with a clean cloth.
- It is not allowed to clean electronic elements (such as the power switch and motor) with water or other solutions. The electrical components can be wiped with a clean cloth.
- It is not allowed to take the product apart for any modification. It is recommended that this product should be checked and cleaned every year to extend the service's life.
Disposal
Coopers of Stortford use recyclable or recycled packaging where possible.
Please dispose of all packaging, paper, and cartons in accordance with your local authority recycling regulations.
At the end of the product's lifespan please check with your local council authorized household waste recycling center for disposal.
