Note:
- 4 AA batteries are sufficient to power the camera. 8 AA batteries significantly extend battery life.
- It is recommended to use high-quality batteries to improve camera performance. For example: Energizer™ batteries.
- Do not mix new and old batteries.
- Do not mix batteries of different brands.
- When the AA battery charge is below 30%, the camera will interrupt or reduce night shooting and stop taking pictures when the power is exhausted.

3. Settings Menu
Switch to SETUP mode, press the MENU button to access the settings menu.
- Mode: Photo, Video, Photo+Video. Default: Photo. Select whether to take photos or videos when motion is detected. In "Photo+Video" mode, the camera takes a set number of photos before recording a video.
- PIR Interval: 5s-60min. Default: 30 seconds. A shorter PIR interval increases the camera's shooting frequency and power consumption, affecting battery life. A longer delay conserves power for extended use. Note: In photo mode, the shortest PIR interval can be set to 5 seconds. In video or photo+video mode, the shortest PIR interval can be set to 10 seconds.
- PIR Sensitivity: High, Medium, Low. Default: Medium. Select sensitivity based on application conditions. 'High' for areas with low interference, 'Medium' for outdoor areas with normal interference, and 'Low' for environments with high interference.
- Time Lapse: Off, On. Default: Off. Press "ON" to set the time interval and specify hour, minute, and second values. This is useful for capturing processes like flower blooming, where the camera automatically takes photos at set intervals. Note: If you select "ON", PIR Interval and PIR Sensitivity will not be available!
- Loop Recording: Off, On. Default: Off. If enabled, new files will overwrite previous ones when the memory card is full.
- Night Shooting Mode: Auto/Color. Default: Auto.
- Auto: Daylight condition (illumination > 13Lux): Color photos/videos. Low/no light (illumination < 13Lux): Black and white photos/videos.
- Color: Daylight/Low light (illumination > 1Lux): Color photos/videos. No light (illumination < 1Lux): Black and white photos/videos.
Note: Color images in low light conditions may exhibit more noise than color images in daylight.Illumination Conditions Illumination (Lux) Full daylight 10,000 Cloudy day 1,000 Very dark day 100 Twilight 10 Deep twilight 1 Full moon 0.1 Quarter moon 0.01 Starlight 0.001 Note: Data is for reference only. Illumination is influenced by factors such as environment, weather conditions, light source distance, etc. - IR LED: Auto/Medium/Low/Off. Default: Auto. Used to set the infrared light brightness.
- Low Battery Night: No IR LED/No Recording. Default: No Recording.
- No Recording: The camera will not take photos or videos in low power conditions.
- No IR LED: Captures black and white photos and videos after the camera is activated in low power conditions.
- Monitoring Period: Off, On. Default: Off. Timer 1 Start/Timer 1 Stop, Timer 2 Start/Timer 2 Stop. Select "ON" to activate this function and set Timer 1 and Timer 2 for initial and end working hours. The camera will not activate and will not take photos or videos outside this period.
- Side PIR Setting: Off/On. Default: On. The two side PIR sensors provide a wider detection angle.
- Frequency: 50 Hz/60 Hz.
- Image Size: Day/Night.
- Day: Select from 2MP to 48MP. Default: 13MP.
- Night: Select from 1MP to 10MP. Default: 2MP.
Note: Higher resolution produces better quality images, but creates larger files that occupy more SD card capacity. 13MP for day and 2MP for night are the recommended default settings for good resolution and reduced file size. - Number of Photos: 1-10 photos. Default: 1 photo.
- Shutter Speed: 1/15, 1/20, 1/30. Default: 1/30.
- Resolution: Day/Night.

- Night: Select from 320P@30fps to 1080P@30fps. Default: 1080P@30fps.
Note: Higher resolution produces better quality video, but creates larger files that occupy more SD card capacity. 2K for day and 1080P for night are the recommended default settings for good resolution and reduced file size. - Video Length: Video Length/Auto Extend Video.
- Video Length: 5s-180s, default: 10s. Specify the duration of a video recording when the camera is automatically activated.
- Auto Extend Video: Off/On. Default: Off. The camera automatically extends the video duration as long as the PIR detects movement. Maximum length: 180s.
- Audio Record: Off, On. Default: On.
Note: Video recording consumes much more energy than taking photos, especially at night with the IR LED on. Please set a shorter video duration to ensure battery life. The energy consumption of 10 seconds of video recording is the same as 150 photos.

Using the Adjustable Fabric Strap
Push one end of the strap through the two brackets on the back of the camera. Thread the strap end through the buckle. Securely fasten the strap around the tree trunk by firmly pulling the strap end so there is no slack.
Using the Wall Mount
The camera is equipped with a mount on the back to allow positioning on the supplied wall mount.

Pre-drilled Holes
Tighten the mount into the screw hole
5. Detection and Distance Test
To verify if the trail camera can effectively monitor the chosen area, it is recommended to perform this test to check the detection angle and monitoring distance of the trail camera. To perform the test:
- Bring the trail camera into SETUP mode.
- Make parallel movements in front of the camera in various positions within the area where you expect game or subjects to be. Try different distances and angles from the camera.
- If the movement indicator LED flashes, it indicates that the position can be detected. If it does not flash, that position is outside the detection range.
- Your test results will help you find the best positioning during mounting and aiming the trail camera. The height from the ground to position the device should vary appropriately with the animal's size. Generally, 3 to 6 feet are preferred.
Note:
- Choose a solid tree that does not move in the wind, as movement will cause false detection.
- Ensure the area in front of your camera is free of branches or twigs that could be blown by the wind.
- The camera should be at the same height as the animal's mid-body.
- Potential false triggers due to temperature and motion disturbances in front of the camera can be avoided by not pointing it towards a heat source or nearby tree branches or bushes (especially on windy days).
6. Turning On the Camera
- Ensure the power switch is in the ON position (do not leave it in SETUP).
- Once you switch to ON mode, the working indicator LED (red) will flash for about 5 seconds. This gives you time to close and lock the camera and then move away.
- During this period, the working indicator LED will flash continuously red. After it stops flashing, the PIR is active, and any movement detected by it will trigger photo or video capture as programmed in the Settings menu.
- Make sure you have read the descriptions for Video Length, Interval, PIR Sensitivity, and IR Brightness.
Note:
The PIR is highly sensitive to ambient temperature. The greater the temperature difference between the environment and the subject, the greater the detection distance possible.
