Main Features
- With battery charging circuit, energy-saving design, and automatically self-protective features.
- Not easily disturbed by other noises.
- Model "L" is suitable for most middle-large size dogs, and Model "S" is for most middle-small size dogs.
Product Components
The device includes a Power button, Shock Electrodes, and a Charger Interface.
Power Button
Press the button shortly to turn on and continuously press for one second to turn off.
How to Adjust Sensitivity
The PD 258 sensitivity can be adjusted according to the dog's barking noise. It features five levels, with level three as the default. Press the "+/-" button; it will beep, and higher sensitivity means it works more easily.
Testing the Device
Place the white test lamp on the two electrodes of the anti-bark collar. Blow into the sensor in the middle or simulate loud dog barking. After the anti-bark collar activates three times, the test lamp will gleam.
Training Instructions
- When the dog barks, the anti-bark collar will alarm for 2 seconds.
- Within 30 seconds, if the dog barks twice, the anti-bark collar will alarm for 3 seconds.
- Within 30 seconds, if the dog barks a third time, the anti-bark collar will alarm for 5 seconds and deliver a slight static shock for punishment training. This encourages the dog to remember the alarm sound and stop barking upon hearing it.
- This training sequence continues up to 7 times. The first and second instances are alarm sounds only. If the dog continues barking, the third through seventh instances will trigger alarm static shocks, intensifying each time for correction. The static shock is designed not to harm dogs.
- The dog will enhance its memory with each intensified static shock, quickly associating the shock with punishment for barking, leading to effective training over time.
Automatically Self-Protective Model
- Regardless of how many times the anti-barking collar activates, it automatically resets after the dog stops barking for 30 seconds.
- To protect the dog, if the anti-barking collar continuously activates 7 times, the indicator light will twinkle rapidly. If the collar stops working for 1 minute, it switches to standby mode. This system is friendly and effective, utilizing gradually enhancing alarm sounds and static shock technology.
Battery Condition
- This anti-barking collar is rechargeable. While charging, a red light will twinkle; when fully charged, the light will remain solid red without twinkling.
- When the battery is low, the anti-barking collar will shut down automatically. Please charge it promptly.

- The device beeps 3 times, representing 60% (40-60%) charge.
- The device beeps 2 times, representing 40% (20-40%) charge.
- The device beeps 1 time, representing 20% (1-20%) charge.
How to Wear Receiver Collar Correctly
Correct wearing position is crucial for healthy and effective pet training.
- The device should be placed on the underside of your pet's neck, with the screw caps making direct contact with the pet's skin.
- If your pet has thick fur on its neck, use longer screw caps.
- The anti-abrasion buckle helps prevent skin abrasion. It is suggested to use it 2-3 times a week.
- Maintain a finger's width space between the device collar and the pet's neck. It should not be too loose, as this will negatively impact the static effectiveness.
Visual Aid Description: The diagrams illustrate the correct placement of the collar on a dog's neck, showing the electrodes touching the skin and the strap adjustment.
Please install the nylon collar in accordance with the illustrated figure.
Visual Aid Description: The diagrams show the steps for attaching the nylon collar and adjusting its length. If the collar is too long, cut the excess portion. To prevent fraying after cutting, use a lighter to melt the edge of the nylon strap.
Safety Instructions
- Prevent dogs from biting the anti-barking collar. This product is made with non-digestible plastic and electronic components. If a dog swallows it, seek veterinary attention immediately.
- If the collar is too tight, prolonged friction between the electrodes and the skin can cause erythema (redness). Remove the collar immediately. To prevent skin infection, re-use the collar only after the erythema has disappeared.
- Periodically check the dog's neck skin. If any side effects like allergies, erythema, or bedsores are observed, stop use and consult a veterinarian immediately.
- When a dog barks strangely, maintain a safe distance. A very small number of dogs may bite people due to their first experience with static shock. Approach only after the dog has calmed down.
- The anti-barking collar is intended only for pets. Do not allow children to play with it.
Reminders
- Keep the anti-barking collar away from water.
- Do not attach a leash to the anti-barking collar strap.
- Install the correct length electrodes, ensuring they make direct contact with the dog's skin. Hair between the electrodes and skin will reduce static shock effectiveness. Trim the hair under the dog's neck if necessary to ensure proper contact.
- A very small number of dogs may react intensely to the static shock when first wearing the collar, sometimes barking loudly. These behaviors are normal, and the dog will need time to adjust.
- Typically, a dog's barking frequency will decrease after several days of wearing the collar. Do not stop training prematurely, as early efforts will be in vain.
- The anti-barking collar is not infallible. Although the PD258 uses advanced technology to precisely distinguish dog barking from other noises, excessive scratching or strong impacts can rarely trigger it. If this occurs, check the dog for fleas or ear mites with a veterinarian.
