This document provides essential information for the Lenoxx SL8 Solar Motion Sensor Light. It details the product's functionality, installation process, operational guidelines, and important safety precautions.
Product Overview
The Lenoxx SL8 is a solar-powered motion sensor light designed to provide illumination automatically when motion is detected. It harnesses solar energy during the day, storing it in rechargeable batteries for use at night.
Specifications
- Light Source: 1pc High Lumin LED
- Sensor Distance: 10M
- Sensor Angle: Approximately 145°~180°
Installation & Operation
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. The light requires a location receiving at least 8 hours of direct sunlight daily. The solar panel should face the direction of maximum sunlight exposure. Shady locations may reduce battery charge and working time.
Installation Steps:
- Switch the unit to the 'ON' position on the back of the solar sensor.
- Mount the sensor securely to a wall using the provided screws, spaced approximately 3.5 cm apart.
Operation: The light activates automatically when motion is detected within the sensor's range and turns off after a period.
Precautions
- Avoid touching the surface of the solar panel.
- Keep the solar panel clean; dust can reduce charging efficiency.
- The light is designed to operate in darkness. Ambient light may cause it to appear dim or not turn on.
- Ensure batteries are fully charged for maximum performance, especially after initial setup.
Battery Information
If the light's performance degrades, batteries may need replacement. Use only specified 3.2V AA 500MAH Li-battery. Batteries must be recycled appropriately and inserted with correct polarity. Mixing battery types is not recommended.
