Basic Setup Steps

1. Unpacking and Preparation: Follow the diagrams to unpack and prepare the printer. Ensure you do not touch the white internal cable.
2. Connecting Cables: Connect necessary cables as indicated in the diagrams. Do not connect the printer until instructed to do so.
3. Software Installation: Insert the CD-ROM and follow the on-screen instructions. Alternatively, download and install the Epson software from the website http://www.epson.com if necessary. The content displayed on the screens may vary depending on the model and situation.
4. Connection Types: The printer supports IEEE1284 (Parallel), USB, and Network (LAN) connections.
