DocumentDocumentMULTI-SURFACE CERAMIC CLEARCOAT PURE AIR COATING You will need: (2) 2-4 gallon pump-up sprayers Electrostatic sprayer (optional for coating) Water supply hose Pressure washer with 40° fan tip (hot water unit if available) Fin comb (optional) SIMIX Multi-Surface Cleaner/Degreaser/Sanitizer SIMIX Multi-Surface Ceramic Clearcoat Distilled or RO water How to Clean and Coat Air Conditioning Systems with SIMIX Multi-Surface Ceramic Clearcoat Straighten fins. Optional step if minor damage. Step 1: Turn off unit and pull breaker. Step 2: Dissolve SIMIX Multi-Surface Cleaner/Degreaser/Sanitizer in a pump-up sprayer. You will use 1 big scoop of SIMIX powder for every 1 gallon of hot water if available. Shake to mix solution. To Clean Unit Step 3: Soak the condensing and evaporator coils, fan and cabinet with SIMIX cleaning solution inside/out and outside/in until you see the cleaner water mixture running off. Step 4: Allow cleaner to soak for 5 to 10 minutes. Step 5: Thoroughly rinse from top to bottom, inside/out and outside/in. Step 6: Repeat steps 1 through 3 if needed. Step 7: Replace breaker and turn on and run the FAN ONLY to dry the evaporator coils. Prepare SIMIX Multi-Surface Ceramic Clearcoat. Refer to Mixing/Dilution charts (sheet) 4 parts water with 1 part coating in pump up sprayer. (use distilled or RO water) Apply SIMIX Multi-Surface Ceramic Clearcoat Step 1: Turn off unit and pull breaker. Step 2: Spray evaporator coil from inside/out, outside/in, coat from both sides if possible. Spray until the fins are completely soaked and coating is visibly running down the coils. Step 3: Replace breaker and turn on FAN ONLY to dry and cure coating (at least 15 minutes and dry to the touch). Step 4: Once evaporator coil is dry and cured, check the condensing coil to see if it is dry and ready for coating. Step 5: Once dry, turn off the breaker, coat the condensing coils and go slowly enough to ensure SIMIX is going all the way through the fins. Step 6: Spray coating on everything else inside the unit including both sides of the fan. Step 7: Close the unit. Step 8: Spray coating on entire cabinet exterior and buff dry with Microfiber cloth.
