Safety Remarks
Warnings
- ? Installation, electrical connection, configuration, and commissioning of the device must only be carried out by qualified personnel, in compliance with applicable technical standards and laws of the respective countries.
- ? The electrical connection of the device can only be carried out by qualified personnel. Incorrect installation may result in electric shock or fire. Ensure the power supply is turned off before making electrical connections.
- ❌ Do not connect to main voltage (230V AC) to the power connector or KNX connector.
- ❌ Opening the housing of the device immediately voids the warranty period.
- ? In case of tampering, compliance with essential requirements of applicable directives is no longer guaranteed.
- ? To clean, use a dry cloth. Avoid solvents or aggressive substances.
- ? Contact with fluids to the plate and socket must be avoided.
- ?️ The device cannot be installed close to heat sources (radiators, household appliances) or in direct sunlight.
- ? The device should preferably be installed on an internal wall at a height of 1.5m and at least 0.3m from doors.
Mounting
The mounting process involves several steps illustrated by diagrams:
- Mounting Support: A metal mounting support is attached to the wall using screws (M3x15 mm). ⚠️ Do not overtighten the screw.
- Cable Connection: The power cable (12-30V) and KNX cable are connected to the device, ensuring correct polarity.
- Alignment: The device is aligned with the lower clips on the mounted support.
- Securing: The top clips are attached.
- Final Insertion: The device is pressed into place using both hands on the sides. ⚠️ Pushing the device straight into the clips might cause damage.
Commissioning
Configuration and commissioning require the use of ETS4 or later releases, performed according to the building automation system design by a qualified planner.
- For device parameter configuration, load the corresponding application program or the whole Core product database in the ETS program. Refer to the application manual on www.core.com.tr for detailed information.
- Commissioning requires:
- Making electrical connections as described above.
- Turning on the bus power supply.
- Switching the device operation to programming mode (alternatively, use the settings menu by activating KNX programming).
- Downloading the physical address and configuration using the ETS program.
- After download, the device returns to normal mode.
- The bus device is now programmed and ready for use.
