Chessnut Go Electronic Chess Set Quick Guide

Warmly welcome to Chessnut Electronic Chess Set. The Chessnut Electronic Chess Set provides highly reliable piece recognition sensor that every single piece could be identified by type and color on each square.
1 Buttons and LEDs on the board
The board features several buttons and status lights to indicate its operational status.
On/Off
- Long press to turn on/off the chess board.
- Short press to enable Bluetooth.
Reset
Short press to reset the board.
New Game
Game Status LED:
- To start an OTB (Over The Board) game, place the pieces on the board, then press the button. The Status LED will turn on, indicating the board is ready to record a new game.
- When a game is over, long press the button for 3 seconds to save the game to internal storage and turn off the Status LED.
Power LED
- Charging:
- Green: Chessboard is fully charged.
- Flashing Green: Power on and charging.
- Red: Power off and charging.
- Not Charging:
- Green: Chessboard power on.
- Flashing Red: The power is less than 10%.
Bluetooth LED
- Blue: Bluetooth connected to a device.
- Flashing Blue: Bluetooth waiting to be connected. Bluetooth will automatically switch off if there is no connection for 60 seconds. Users can short press the power button to re-enable it.
Status LED
- Yellow: Refer to "Game Status LED" for details.
Buzzer
The buzzer will sound when:
- Starting a new game.
- Bluetooth connected or disconnected.
- The king is being attacked.
Internal Storage Status
Flashing Yellow: The internal storage is full. Users can upload saved games to a PC to free up memory.
2 Get the APPS
Chessnut develops multi-platform apps (including Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS) for users to play with the Chessnut Go. Many excellent third-party apps also work well with the device. You can find the app list and download links on the website: https://www.chessnutech.com/pages/apps.

3 Connect the board to your devices
iOS and Android devices can connect via Bluetooth. Mac OS also supports wireless connection.
Some Windows PCs may have unstable Bluetooth connections due to various Bluetooth chips. If you encounter connection issues, please use a USB cable for PC connection.
Why can't I connect the board to my phone?
Please ensure the following:
- Enable GPS on your phone, as BLE connection relies on GPS.
- Allow location permission for the app.
- Do not pair the board in your phone's Bluetooth settings; instead, use the Chessnut app. Click the Bluetooth icon in the upper right corner of the app to search and connect.
- Ensure the blue LED on the board is flashing. If not, short press the power button to enable it.
Chessnut will NEVER get or save your location data for any other use.
