Precautions for Use
- Do not attempt to open the case or remove the back cover.
- The water and dust-proof gasket should be replaced every 2-3 years.
- If water or condensation enters the watch, take it to your CASIO dealer or distributor immediately.
- Do not expose the watch to excessively high temperatures.
- While the watch has an shock-resistant mechanism, avoid strong impacts or dropping it on hard surfaces.
- Do not overtighten the band. A finger should fit under the band.
- Clean the watch and band with a soft cloth, dry or dampened with soapy water. Do not use volatile solvents (e.g., gasoline, thinners, aerosol cleaners).
- Always store the watch in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid exposure to aggressive chemicals like gasoline, cleaning agents, or aerosols, as they can damage gaskets, cases, and finishes.
- Some bands have printed characteristics. Clean them carefully to avoid erasing the print.
- For watches with plastic bands: A white powdery residue may appear; this is harmless and can be removed by wiping with a cloth.
- Moisture on plastic bands can cause them to warp, crack, or tear. Wipe off dirt or moisture promptly.
- For watches with fluorescent bands/cases: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture can cause fluorescence to fade. Wipe off moisture promptly and avoid contact with other surfaces.
- Rubbing fluorescent surfaces against other surfaces can transfer the printed color.
