1. Clear Paper Jam
Procedures for removing jammed paper from different printer components.
1.1 Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)
Pull up the front handle of the cover and open the cover until it stops. [arrow pointing up]
Remove the document from the left cover.
If the document is caught in the entry, remove the jammed paper from the Left Cover. [arrow pointing left]
If the document is caught in the exit area, lift the Document Feeder Tray and pull the document toward the exit. [arrow pointing up], [arrow pointing right]
Open the Document Cover, pull down the handle to open the Side 2 scanner, and then remove the document. [arrow pointing down]
1.2 Inside Lower Left Cover
Open the Lower Left Cover. [arrow pointing right]
Remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing left]
1.3 Right Side
Open the Lower Right Cover. [arrow pointing right]
Remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing left]
2. Trays
Instructions for clearing paper jams from the paper trays.
2.1 Paper Trays 1 & 2
Pull out the Paper Tray where the paper jam occurred until it stops. [arrow pointing right]
Remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing left]
2.2 Paper Trays 3 & 4
Pull out the Paper Tray where the paper jam occurred until it stops. [arrow pointing right]
Remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing left]
Pull out Tray 3 and Tray 4. [arrows pointing right]
Pull out the unit [C], then open the handle and remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing right], [arrow pointing up]
2.3 Bypass Tray
Remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing left]
3. Transfer Units
Procedures for clearing paper jams from the transfer units.
Open the Front Cover. [arrow pointing right]
Turn the handle [2] of the Transfer Unit to the right until it becomes horizontal (①) and pull the Transfer Unit out to the front until it stops (②). [arrow pointing right], [arrow pointing right]
Slowly pull out the paper in the arrow direction and remove it. [arrow pointing left]
Open the handle [2a] and remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing up]
Open the handle [2b] to open the handle [2c] and remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing up], [arrow pointing up]
Open the handle [2d] down and remove the jammed paper. [arrow pointing down]
4. Replacing Toner
Instructions for checking the status of consumables and replacing toner.
4.1 Confirm the status of supplies
To display the consumables progress, tap on the 'Apps' icon on the main screen.
Tap on [Device Status].
Tap on [Supplies].
For the replacement method, refer to the steps provided on the box of the consumable.
