Introduction
The ContiSys OBD service tool is designed to connect with and communicate with various vehicle control modules, aiding in the diagnosis of system problems. It allows users to extract information such as Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
The tool supports multiple applications, including:
- EOBD: Accesses vehicle emission-related data, including Malfunction Indicator status, fault codes, live data, and O2 sensor tests.
- FastCheck ABS: Reads and clears fault codes for the ABS system.
- FastCheck Airbag: Reads and clears fault codes for the Airbag system.
- FastCheck Battery: Registers battery replacements for vehicles with stop/start or battery management technology.
- FastCheck Climate: Reads and clears fault codes for the climate control system.
- FastCheck Diesel: Reads and clears fault codes, displays data readings, and can re-code injectors on applicable diesel vehicles.
- FastCheck EPB: Reads and clears fault codes for the Electronic Parking Brake system, useful during brake operations.
- FastCheck G/Box: Reads and clears fault codes for the Gearbox system, useful during clutch operations.
- FastCheck SAS: Reads and clears fault codes for the Steering Angle Sensor system and can calibrate it.
- FastCheck Service: Resets oil service interval indicators and inspection warning lights.
- FastCheck TPMS: Reprograms tyre valves with TPMS functionality.
Getting Started
To begin using the ContiSys OBD, connect the appropriate multiplexer or EOBD cable (e.g., A2C59512985 or A2C59512072) to the service tool and the vehicle's diagnostic connector. The current software version will be displayed.
