Built for Marathons
Less Weight
At 300g, the lightweight construction makes the Raikiri Pro comfortable for prolonged gaming sessions, helping to minimize wrist pain.
More Grip
Ergonomic hand grips are thinner with a flatter arc to accommodate various hand sizes. The Micro-dot design increases friction for a firm grip and provides an easy-to-clean surface, unlike rubber which can become sticky over time.
Lighter Actuation, No Unwanted Clicks
Moving the rear buttons to the center allows for lighter actuation force, reducing hand strain and eliminating inadvertent clicks.
Easy Identification
The angled surface and cross stripes on the rear buttons make them easy to locate by touch.
Always Connected
With tri-mode connection (2.4 GHz RF, Bluetooth, or wired USB-C), the Raikiri Pro is an ideal companion for PC, laptops, and the ROG Ally. The wireless 2.4GHz receiver is safely stored on the back for easy portability. Enjoy up to 48 hours* of battery life on a single charge.
Battery Life Comparison
The ROG Raikiri Pro offers up to 48 hours of battery life (when lighting, audio DAC, vibration, and OLED are OFF). This is comparable to other high-end controllers, with specific comparisons often detailed in product documentation.

Tri-Mode Connectivity
The Raikiri Pro supports PC and Xbox consoles across USB-C, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz modes, offering features like Haptic Feedback and Audio capabilities.
Supported Features by Mode
- PC: USB-C, Bluetooth, 2.4GHz (Supports Haptic Feedback, Audio)
- Xbox: USB-C (Supports Haptic Feedback)
1. Haptic feedback on Impulse Triggers is defined as an official Xbox controller feature. 2. PC & Xbox profile settings must be configured on the PC via wired mode and then saved to the onboard memory.
Built-in OLED Display
Get creative by adding custom images, animations, or text to the built-in OLED display using Armoury Crate. Use it to switch profiles on the fly or to view the current controller profile, charging status, power status, or microphone status.
Two buttons located above the OLED display allow for easy switching between controller profiles and connection modes. Connecting a USB-C cable automatically switches the controller to wired mode.
More information on how to use the OLED display can be found on pages 20-21.
Sure-Fire Rear Buttons
The rear buttons are positioned for comfortable reach. Program them as hotkeys for complex in-game commands or use them to adjust joystick sensitivity on the fly for enhanced control.
Refer to detailed instructions for understanding response curves and leveraging sensitivity shift functions, typically found in tutorial videos or specific guide sections.
Please refer to pages 31-32 for detailed instructions on rear button customization.
Customizable Step Triggers
The left and right triggers offer a full range of motion and include a short trigger lock mode. Trigger dead zones can be customized via Armoury Crate to suit user preferences, ideal for games like FPS titles requiring quick trigger response.
Premium Audio
Connect a headset to the 3.5 mm jack for premium, true-to-life audio, powered by the built-in ESS DAC. A dedicated mute button is available for voice chat control.
When a 3.5mm headset is connected, the microphone is muted by default. Press the mute button to unmute. Note: Headset connection is only available in wired mode.
The ROG Spirit
The cyberpunk-inspired translucent design, floating logo, and custom light effects on the Raikiri Pro embody the ROG spirit.
- Aura RGB lighting
- 2.5D smoke-tinted ABXY buttons
- Bold translucent design
Customize it Your Way
The Armoury Crate app provides comprehensive customization options, including remapping buttons, adjusting OLED display settings, selecting controller profiles, and setting low battery alerts for wireless mode. You can also fine-tune vibration strength, trigger dead zones, and adjust joystick response curves.
* Armoury Crate can only be accessed on PC or ROG Ally via wired mode. ** PC & Xbox profile settings must be configured on the PC via wired mode and then saved to the onboard memory.
Highly Customizable Options
Response Curve
Configure the relationship between thumbstick movement and response value to adapt to different games and weapons. This allows for precise control tailored to specific gameplay styles.
Deadzone Settings
Define a circular boundary where joystick movement is not registered. This helps prevent stick drift and allows for precise aiming. An outer threshold can also be set to determine when maximum input is reached.
Key Assignments
Remap buttons, such as reload or jump, to the rear buttons for easier access and to allow players to perform multiple actions without taking their thumbs off the analog joysticks.
Refer to the ROG Raikiri Series Tutorial Video for further details. Please refer to pages 27-32 for customizing settings instructions.
Further Customization
OLED Display
Create personalized animations, images, or text to display on the controller.
Haptic Feedback
Adjust the vibration strength to enhance immersion during gameplay.
RGB Lighting
Personalize the lighting effects or synchronize them with other ROG gear for a unified aesthetic.

FAQ
Q1: Was the Raikiri Pro designed to be lightweight?
Yes, based on comprehensive surveys with power users, a weight range of 270-330g was found to be most comfortable for prolonged use, minimizing wrist pain. Lightweight construction was a key focus, balanced with high durability, including drop tests from 1.25m onto steel surfaces.
Q2: Does the micro-dot design have an advantage over rubber?
Yes, the Micro-dot design increases friction for a firm grip, even with sweaty hands, and provides an easy-to-clean surface. Unlike rubber, it avoids potential stickiness over time, especially in humid climates.

Adjusting Joystick Settings (Part 1)
Step 1: Select Controller and Page
Set up your controller within the Armoury Crate software. Choose 'ROG Raikiri Pro', navigate to the 'Settings' page, and select 'Stick'.
Step 2: Choose Customizable Curves
You can select from 3 preset curves or use 2 additional sets for your own customized curves.
Refer to the ROG Raikiri Series Tutorial Video for further details.
Adjusting Joystick Settings (Part 2)
Preset Curves: Rapid/Linear/Gentle
- Linear: Move/Aim at the same rate as the navigating stroke of the joystick. Frequently used for games where you control the camera view or character movement.
- Gentle: Move/Aim within a fine input range of the joystick. This is great for precise aiming but can be difficult to keep up with a fast target.
- Rapid: Faster and more responsive. Offers instantly responsive movement but is harder to control when first starting out.
Refer to the ROG Raikiri Series Tutorial Video for further details.
Adjusting Joystick Settings (Part 3)
Dead Zone and Outer Threshold
- Dead Zone: Defines a circular boundary where the joystick can move freely without any input being registered. Applying little or no dead zone is recommended for most precision in games, except perhaps for racing titles. Without a dead zone, movements can cause unintended drifting.
- Outer Threshold: This applies to the outer limits of the joystick's movement. If the outer threshold is set to 90%, the maximum input can be reached as soon as the joystick moves at least 90% from its resting position, as opposed to the usual 100%.
Refer to the ROG Raikiri Series Tutorial Video for further details.
Adjusting Joystick Settings (Part 4)
Main Curve and Axis Inversion
- Main Curve: You can also shift 4 plots on the curve if you wish to try larger values for Dead Zone and Outer Threshold.
- Invert X or Y axis: Most games provide the option of inverting the X or Y axis, especially for flight simulators and FPS games. These settings are included here in case the games do not have them or force you to play with inverted controls.
Refer to the ROG Raikiri Series Tutorial Video for further details.
