Overview
The DreamSky DS226 is a versatile radio featuring FM, AM, and Bluetooth connectivity. It is powered by AC or C batteries.
Key Components:
- 1. /SLEEP Button: Press to turn on the radio; press to select sleep timer; hold to turn off the radio.
- 2. Power/Sleep Timer Indicator: Indicates power status and sleep timer activation.
- 3. TUNING Knob: Used to change the radio station.
- 4. VOLUME Knob: Used to adjust the volume.
- 5. FM/AM/Bluetooth Switch: Toggles between Bluetooth, FM, and AM bands.
- 6. Earphone Jack: For connecting headphones.

Power Supply
Using Dry Cell Batteries (Alkaline Batteries)
- Unplug the AC power supply cord from the household AC outlet and the AC INPUT socket on the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 'C' batteries into the battery compartment, following the polarity (+/-) diagram inside.

Connecting AC Power Supply Cord
Use the included AC power supply cord (7.5V/0.2A, 110V voltage applicable). The included AC power supply cord is for use with this unit only. Do not use it with other equipment.
Operation
Tune in Radio
- Press the / SLEEP button to turn on the radio.
- Toggle the switch to select the AM or FM band.
- Rotate the TUNING knob to select the desired radio channel. The frequency display shows the selected frequency.
- Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the volume.

Bluetooth Mode
- Press the / SLEEP button to turn on the device and toggle the switch to Bluetooth mode.
- Turn on your audio source's Bluetooth and select "DS226" from the Bluetooth menu.
- Rotate the VOLUME knob or adjust your audio source's volume for a proper sound.

Sleep Timer
With the sleep timer, the device will turn off automatically after a specified time interval.
- Press the / SLEEP button to activate the sleep countdown timer when the device is ON.
- Press the / SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the available durations: 30 Minutes, 1 Hour, 2 Hours, or Endless (continuous playback).

Turn OFF the Radio
Hold the / SLEEP button to turn off the radio.
Adjust the Antenna
- FM: Pull out the telescopic antenna and adjust its length and angle for optimum reception.
- AM: The unit is equipped with a built-in ferrite antenna. Try various directions for optimum reception.

Troubleshooting
Q: No power
A:
- Batteries may be dead or incorrectly inserted.
- AC power connection might be loose.
- The power outlet may not be working.
Q: No sound

- Volume of the device or the Bluetooth source may not be adjusted.
- Headphones might be connected to the unit.
Q: Poor radio reception
A:
- The radio signal may be weak. Extend, incline, and rotate the telescopic antenna for the best reception.
