Product Overview
The Ruijie Reyee RG-EST100-E is a dual-stream 2.4 GHz wireless bridge designed for outdoor use, offering a maximum transmission distance of 500 meters.
Installation Steps
Step 1: Mounting the Device
A. Wall Mounting:
- Attach the mounting bracket (a) to the device.
- Mark the mounting holes on the wall using the bracket as a template. Ensure the wall is suitable for mounting.
- Drill holes and insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Secure the bracket to the wall using appropriate screws (M4*25 mm).
- Slide the device onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.
B. Pole Mounting:
- Secure the mounting bracket to the device.
- Use the provided straps to attach the device with the bracket to a pole. Adjust the straps for a secure fit (suitable for poles with a diameter of 35 mm to 89 mm).
Step 2: Connecting the Device
A. Powering the Device:
- Connect the power adapter (c) to the DC port on the device.
- Plug the power adapter into a power outlet.
B. Network Connection (PoE):
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN1/PoE port on the device.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PoE switch or injector.
- Connect the PoE switch/injector to your network.
- Connect the second device (CPE) to the network via another Ethernet cable, ensuring it is also powered. The maximum cable length for the network connection is 100 meters.
Step 3: Device Configuration
A. Using the Reyee App:
- Scan the QR code on the device or in the app to download and install the Reyee app.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add and configure the device.
B. Using the Web Interface:
- Connect a computer to the device via an Ethernet cable.
- Access the device's web interface by entering its IP address in a web browser. The default IP address is typically 192.168.1.1 or can be found in the device's documentation.
- Log in using the default credentials (refer to the device manual).
- Configure the device settings, including mode (AP or CPE), SSID, password, and other network parameters.
LED Indicators
The device features several LED indicators to show its status:
- SYS: System status indicator.
- LAN1: Indicates the status of the LAN1 port.
- PoE: Indicates PoE power status.
- LAN2: Indicates the status of the LAN2 port.
