OVERVIEW
Soundbar Control Panel
The soundbar features a control panel with the following functions:
- Standby/On/Off: Power button (?)
- Increase Volume: Plus button (+)
- Decrease Volume: Minus button (-)
- Mode Selection: 'M' button
Connection Panel
The rear of the soundbar has a connection panel with the following ports:
- HDMI (ARC)
- OPTICAL
- USB IN
- AUX IN
- COAXIAL
Additionally, there is a main ON/OFF switch and an AC power in port.

Using +/- Buttons
- Press + to increase volume in any mode. In BT or USB modes, a long-press increases volume, and a short-press skips to the next track.
- Press - to decrease volume in any mode. In BT or USB modes, a long-press decreases volume, and a short-press skips to the previous track.

OPERATION
Wireless Subwoofer Connection
Notes: The soundbar comes pre-paired with the subwoofer. Follow these steps if it is not connected or requires reconnection:
- Power on both the Soundbar and Subwoofer. The subwoofer's LED will flash if not connected. Set the soundbar to Bluetooth mode ("BT" will display).
- Hold the Play/Pause button for at least 3 seconds until the display shows "PAIR". The subwoofer and soundbar will automatically begin pairing (first connection may take 10 seconds or more).
- Upon successful connection, the soundbar will chime, and the subwoofer's LED will remain solidly lit.
Input Functions
- Power on/off: Press the Power on/off button on the remote control or soundbar control panel.
- HDMI (ARC): Connect an HDMI ARC compatible device to the soundbar's HDMI (ARC) port using an HDMI cable (not supplied). Select HDMI (ARC) mode via the remote or by repeatedly pressing the Mode button on the soundbar until "ARC" is displayed. Ensure HDMI ARC is selected as the TV's audio output in your TV's settings. Adjust volume using the soundbar's remote or control panel.
- Auxiliary in: Connect a compatible device using the supplied 3.5mm cable. Select auxiliary mode via the remote's "AUX" button or by repeatedly pressing the Mode button on the soundbar until "AUX" is displayed. Ensure the connected device is outputting audio. Adjust volume using the soundbar's remote or control panel.
- Optical in: Connect a compatible device using a digital optical cable (not supplied). Select optical mode via the remote's "OPT" button or by repeatedly pressing the Mode button on the soundbar until "OPT" is displayed. Ensure Optical SPDIF is selected as the TV's audio output. Adjust volume using the soundbar's remote or control panel.
- Coaxial in: Connect a compatible device using a digital coaxial cable (not supplied). Select coaxial mode by repeatedly pressing the Mode button on the soundbar until "COA" is displayed. Ensure Coaxial is selected as the TV's audio output. Adjust volume using the soundbar's remote or control panel.
- Bluetooth: Press the "BT" button on the remote or repeatedly press the Mode button on the soundbar until "BT" is shown. The LED display will flash, indicating pairing mode. Ensure your device is also in pairing mode and search for "Kogan 180W Dolby SB". When paired, the soundbar's LED will be solid. The soundbar will auto-re-pair when in range with Bluetooth enabled. Note: Long-press the BT button to disconnect or reconnect Bluetooth.
- USB media mode: The soundbar supports USB flash drives up to 64GB (FAT32) for MP3/WAV/FLAC playback. Insert a compatible drive (not supplied) into the USB port; the unit will automatically switch to USB mode and play the first compatible track. Use the Repeat Playback button to toggle between single track repeat ("ONE") or all track repeat ("ALL"). The media player remembers the last played point for reinserted USB drives.
- Equalizer modes: Three presets are available: Music ("EQ1"), Movie ("EQ2"), and News ("EQ3"). Press the EQ button on the remote to cycle through them.
- Wall mounting: The soundbar has two keyhole slots on the back for wall mounting using the provided kit.
