Mappings Between OEM App Accounts and Data Centers

1. Rules of account location
This topic describes the default data centers in which OEM app accounts are served based on the app account locations.
1.1. Default rules
OEM apps can be created on the Tuya Developer Platform. By default, app accounts are allocated to specific data centers based on mappings between data centers and countries or regions listed in the following tables. The locations of app accounts determine the data centers in which they are served.
Countries or regions not listed in the following tables are mapped to the Western America Data Center.
Note:
- India Data Center is managed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and has been available since 2020.
- For OEM apps created earlier than 2020-09-22 17:10:00 (UTC+8), if app accounts were registered in India, they belong to the Central Europe Data Center.
- For OEM apps created since 2020-09-22 17:10:00 (UTC+8), app accounts are allocated based on the mappings for this data center in this topic.
- Singapore Data Center has been available since June 3, 2025.
- For OEM apps created earlier than 2025-6-3 10:00:00 (UTC+8), if app accounts were registered in a country or region in the table, they will remain in the original data center.
- For OEM apps created since 2025-6-3 10:00:00 (UTC+8), app accounts are allocated based on the mappings for this data center in this topic.
- For countries/regions where the data center's location has changed, please refer to the Data center location change record for information on their original locations.
1.2. Modify rules
You can modify the rules as instructed in Modify Mappings Between OEM App Accounts and Data Centers. This allows you to specify data centers for your OEM app accounts in certain countries or regions. App accounts created after modification are allocated to specified data centers based on mappings that may differ from those mentioned in this topic. Your OEM apps must be rebuilt to make this modification effective.
In line with business needs, you can activate Microsoft Azure cloud services for your OEM apps. App accounts created since this activation are allocated to either the Eastern America Data Center or the Western Europe Data Center. App accounts created earlier than this activation cannot be used as expected until the activation takes effect.

8. Countries or regions supporting only certain data centers
If a country or region supports only one data center, user accounts registered in that country or region cannot be migrated to other data centers. The following mappings do not apply to Eastern America Data Center or Western Europe Data Center.

9. Data center location change record
Singapore Data Center has been available since June 3, 2025. From today onwards, some countries/regions will be reallocated to the Singapore data center. For information on their original data center locations, please refer to the table below:
