Installation

General Installation Requirements
- Installation must comply with AS/NZS 5601.1, local gas fitting, electrical regulations, and building codes.
- The appliance is suitable for rigid pipe or flexible hose connection. The shut-off valve must be accessible.
- Flexible hoses must be certified, appropriate length (max 1000mm), and not subject to strain or damage.
- Gas leakage and operation must be tested by the installer. Burner flames should be blue and stable.
- Natural Gas requires a pressure regulator (1.0 kPa).
- Universal LPG requires a pressure check (2.75 kPa).
- Nozzles may need changing and minimum flame adjusted for different gas types.
- Ensure adequate room ventilation for combustion.
- The appliance must be installed correctly to prevent tipping hazards. Anti-tip devices are mandatory.
Gas Connection
Connection to the gas mains requires a continuous wall steel hose or approved flexible hose. The appliance has a 1/2" external thread gas connector.

Levelling the Appliance
The appliance must be level for stability. Use the supplied adjustable feet to level it.

Hob Details

Using the Storage Compartment
The storage compartment at the bottom is for cookware or metallic objects.
Using the Oven
Select the cooking function and temperature using the respective knobs. Ensure the programmer clock shows the cooking duration symbol to activate the oven.

- STATIC: Ideal for single dishes like roasts, bread, pies.
- CIRCULAIRE + BOTTOM: For quickly finishing partially cooked food, suitable for quiches.
- SMALL GRILL: For grilling small portions, kebabs, toasted sandwiches.
- GRILL: For excellent grilling and gratinating, provides uniform browning.
- FAN WITH GRILL: For optimal grilling, even for thick meat cuts.
- FAN ASSISTED: For intense and uniform cooking, ideal for cakes and multi-level cooking.
- CIRCULAIRE: Distributes heat quickly and uniformly, suitable for all dishes and multi-level cooking without mixing smells.
- RAPID DEFROST: Uses fan assistance for uniform defrosting.
- ECO: For low energy consumption cooking on a single shelf, recommended for foods not producing much moisture. Avoid opening the door during ECO cooking.
- VAPOR CLEAN (on some models): Assisted cleaning using steam.
Digital Programmer
The programmer allows setting time, duration, and programmed cooking. It includes buttons for minute minder, duration, end of cooking, value decrease, and value increase.
Setting the Time: Follow steps to set the clock. The appliance is ready when the symbol appears.
Timed Cooking: Set a start and end time for cooking.
Programmed Cooking: Set a cooking duration and an end time.
Minute Minder Timer: Alerts when a set time has elapsed; does not stop cooking.
Cooking Advice
- General: Use fan-assisted functions for multi-level cooking. Do not increase temperature to shorten cooking times.

- Grill: Preheat for Fan with Grill. Place food centrally. Use maximum temperature for Grill function.
- Desserts/Biscuits: Use dark metal moulds. Check doneness with a toothpick. Adjust temperature if desserts collapse.
- Two Shelves: Use two racks, position centrally, leave space between racks. Cooking may take longer. Use CIRCULAIRE or CIRCULAIRE+BOTTOM functions.
- Defrosting/Proving: Place food without packaging in a lidless container. Avoid overlapping. Use rack and tray for meat defrosting. A container of water aids proving.
