Welcome to the Programming Guide for Your New Thermafloor HT1 Thermostat
Getting Started
Follow these steps to program your Thermafloor HT1 thermostat.
- To switch your thermostat on, simply tap the [power icon] on your glass screen.
- This will take you to the main home screen.
- To begin programming, you must first set the clock and the day of the week.
- To set the clock to the correct time, gently tap the [tick icon] at the bottom of the display. Use the [up/down arrows] to adjust the time. Once you have chosen the correct time, tap the [tick icon].
- The day of the week will now flash. Use the [up/down arrows] to select the correct day of the week, then tap the [tick icon] to confirm.
- You have now set the time and day of the week and have returned to the home screen.
Programming Modes
There are two options for programming your thermostat: Manual mode or Auto Mode.
Manual Mode
Manual mode allows you to switch the heating on and off manually and adjust the temperature manually.
- To operate the thermostat manually, tap the [M button] on the display. You will hear a "click" sound, and a [handprint icon] with a [heat icon] will appear, indicating the thermostat is currently heating.
- Use the [up/down arrows] on the display to increase or decrease the floor temperature. When you have selected your desired temperature, tap the [tick icon]. Your floor will now heat to the set temperature.
Auto Mode Programming
For the best heating efficiency and to align with your daily lifestyle, programming the thermostat to Auto Mode is recommended.
- To run the thermostat in Auto mode, tap the [M icon] until the clock is displayed, then press and hold the [M icon] for 5 seconds. The thermostat is now in programming mode.
- The numbers 1-5 displayed at the top of the screen represent the days of the week (Monday to Friday).
- The time displayed shows 06:25 AM with P1 next to it. This indicates the time the thermostat will activate heating in the morning. You can change this time using the [up/down arrows]. It is recommended to set the timer 30-60 minutes before you want the room to be used. Once your chosen time is selected, tap the [M icon] to confirm.
- The temperature icon will now flash. Use the [up/down arrows] to set the desired temperature. A starting point of 25 degrees is recommended, but you can adjust this based on your preference. Tap the [M icon] to confirm.
- P2 will now be displayed, and the time will flash. This is the time you wish the thermostat to switch off in the morning. Use the [up/down arrows] to set the time and confirm by tapping the [M icon].
- The temperature icon will flash again. Setting the temperature to 5 degrees is recommended as a minimum to ensure heating stays off during the day. Use the [up/down arrows] to adjust the temperature, then press [M icon] to confirm.
- You will now see the P3 icon and the time flashing. This allows you to set the heating for the afternoon or evening.
- To program the afternoon or evening, adjust the time using the [up/down arrows] and press [M icon] to confirm. (Example: set to come on at 7:30 PM). You can adjust the temperature similarly to the morning program using the [up/down arrows] and tapping [M icon] to confirm.
- P4 will now be displayed, and the time will flash. Use the [up/down arrows] to set the time you wish the heating to switch off in the evening, then tap [M icon] to confirm. (Example: set to go off at 9:30 PM). The temperature icon will now be displayed; use the [down arrow] to select the minimum temperature of 5 degrees to ensure heating stays off during the night. Tap [M icon] to confirm.
- The numbers 6 and 7 displayed at the top of the screen indicate the weekend days (Saturday and Sunday). P1 will be displayed with the time flashing, indicating the time you wish heating to come on during weekend days. Use the [up/down arrows] to adjust the time, then tap [M icon] to confirm. Adjust the temperature using the [up/down arrows] and tap [M icon] to confirm.
- P2 will now be displayed. Set the time you wish the thermostat to switch off by using the [up/down arrows], then tap [M icon] to confirm. The temperature will now flash; adjust this down to 5 degrees to ensure heating stays off during the day, then tap [M icon] to confirm.
- P3 will now be displayed for the afternoon or evening setting. Use the [up/down arrows] to set the time you wish heating to come on in the evening, tapping [M icon] to confirm. Select the desired temperature using the [up/down arrows], tapping [M icon] to confirm.
- P4 will now be displayed with the time flashing, indicating the time you wish heating to go off in the evening. Use the [up/down arrows] to select the time, then tap [M icon] to confirm. To ensure heating stays off during the night, set the temperature to 5 degrees using the [down arrow]. Tap the [tick icon] to complete the heating programming.
- Your thermostat is now programmed and running in Auto mode.
Locking/Unlocking the Thermostat
To lock the thermostat and prevent changes, or to stop children from altering settings, press and hold the [on button] for 5 seconds. The [key lock icon] will appear, indicating the screen is locked.
To unlock the screen, press and hold the [on button] for 5 seconds until the [key lock icon] disappears.
