Device Layout
The device includes the following components:
- Atmospheric pressure sensor
- Speaker
- Home button (Power button)
- Back button
- Microphone
- Optical heart rate sensor
- Infrared temperature sensor
- Pressure vent
Important Notes:
- ⚠️ Do not insert sharp objects into external holes, as this may damage internal components and the water-resistance feature.
- ⚠️ Do not look directly at the optical heart rate sensor's lights, as this may impair your vision.
- If the product becomes hot, remove it until it cools. Prolonged contact with a hot surface may cause low-temperature burns.
- If your device is frozen and unresponsive, press and hold the Home button and Back button simultaneously for more than 7 seconds to restart it.
Getting Started
Attaching the Band
- Press the band's button and attach the band to your product.
- Remove the band by pressing the band's button.
Charging the Battery
Connect the wireless charger to the USB power adapter. Place the product on the wireless charger, aligning the center of the product's backside with the center of the charger.
Turning the Product On
Press and hold the Home button for a few seconds.
Connecting to a Mobile Device
Turn the product on and open the Galaxy Wearable app. Follow the on-screen instructions for connecting the product to a mobile device. If the app is not installed, download it from your app store and follow the instructions.
The Galaxy Wearable app allows you to check your product's status and customize settings. Supported mobile devices and features may vary by region, carrier, or manufacturer.
Safety Information
Read all safety information before using the device for safe and proper use.
General Warnings:
- Your device contains magnets. Keep it away from credit cards, implanted medical devices, and other devices sensitive to magnets. Maintain a distance of at least 15 cm from medical devices. Consult your physician if you suspect interference with a medical device.
- Do not disassemble the device or subject it to physical impacts.
- Use only Samsung-approved chargers and cables. Prevent the multipurpose jack from contacting foreign materials.
- If any part of the device is broken, smokes, or emits a burning odor, stop using it immediately and seek repair at a Samsung Service Centre or authorized center.
- Operating temperature: 0 °C to 35 °C. Storage temperature: -20 °C to 50 °C. Exceeding these ranges may damage the device or reduce battery life.
- For accurate measurements, wear the device snugly but comfortably. Loosen the band after measuring to allow air to reach your skin.
- Skin irritation may occur due to friction, pressure, moisture, or prolonged wear. If irritation occurs, remove the device and consult a physician.
- Always keep your device clean and dry.
- To prevent hearing damage, do not listen at high volume for extended periods with a headset.
- Extended display of static graphics may cause screen burn-in or ghosting.
Water and Dust Resistance
This device meets international standards for water and dust resistance:
- 5ATM classification (ISO 22810:2010): Tested by submerging in 50 m of fresh water for 10 minutes.
- IP68 classification (IEC 60529): Tested by submerging in 1.5 m of fresh water for 30 minutes.
You can use this device for swimming in pools or the sea where the water is not deep. To maintain water and dust resistance:
- After swimming or exposure to liquids other than fresh water (e.g., coffee, drinks, soapy water, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, cosmetics), rinse the device with fresh water and dry it thoroughly with a clean soft cloth.
- Do not stay submerged underwater, go diving, play water sports, or swim in fast-moving water (like rivers).
- Water and dust resistance may be compromised if the device is hit or damaged.
- Do not disassemble the device without proper guidance.
- Do not dry the device with a hot air machine (e.g., hair dryer) or use it in hot environments (e.g., sauna) to avoid damage from sudden temperature changes.

Removing the Battery
Contact an authorized service center to remove the battery. Do not attempt removal yourself for safety reasons, as improper removal can damage the device, cause injury, or compromise safety. Samsung is not liable for damage or loss resulting from failure to follow these instructions, except for death or personal injury caused by Samsung's negligence.

ISED Notice (Canada)
This device complies with ISED Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to two conditions: 1. The device may not cause interference. 2. The device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
To check the ISED ID, launch the Settings app and tap About watch → Status information.
Correct Disposal
Refer to the user manual for device and battery disposal instructions. For safety, do not handle the device if the Li-ion battery is damaged or leaking.
