Important Safety and Installation Information
General Warnings
- ⚠️ ATTENTION: OBSERVE PRECAUTIONS FOR HANDLING ELECTROSTATIC SENSITIVE DEVICES ⚡
- The luminaire must be installed by a qualified electrician and wired in accordance with the latest IEE electrical regulations or national requirements.
- This luminaire is not suitable for use as emergency lighting.
- The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
- Caution is advised for use in environments where an accumulation of conductive dust may be expected.
- For outdoor operation on a building, ensure all cables run indoors with a maximum distance of 10 meters.
Mounting Instructions
Diagrams illustrate the mounting process and hardware.
- Hardware includes: 3x ST3.9 x 25 screws ? and 6x screw covers.
- Maximum number of luminaires that can be connected in series: 10.
- Mounting requires screws (e.g., ST3.9 x 25) with a torque of approximately 0.5 Nm.
- Cable requirements: Minimum H05RN-F 2x1.00 mm², Maximum H05RN-F 2x1.50 mm², with a cable diameter of 6-10 mm.
- The luminaire should be mounted flat to the side plane of the base, not higher than the indicated plane.
- A screw cap is included in the accessory bag.
HF Motion Sensor Configuration (For WL070V LED17S MDU only)
The HF Motion Sensor allows for precise setting of sensor data for various applications by selecting combinations on the DIP switches.

6 & 7 | OFF / ON | Stand-by Dimming Level: 25% (Default) |
8 | ON / ON | Stand-by Period: 0 seconds |
8 | ON / OFF | Stand-by Period: 1 minute |
8 | OFF / ON | Stand-by Period: 10 minutes |
8 | OFF / OFF | Stand-by Period: ∞ (Infinite low light) |
Note on Hold Time: Refers to the time the lamp remains at 100% illumination after no motion is detected.
Note on Daylight Sensor: The sensor can be set to only allow illumination below a defined ambient brightness threshold. When set to 'Disable', the daylight sensor switches on the lamp regardless of ambient light level.
Note on Stand-by Dimming Level: The low light level desired after the hold time in the long absence of people.
Note on Stand-by Period: Refers to the time the lamp remains at a low light level before completely switching off in the long absence of people. When set to '∞' mode, the low light is maintained until motion is detected.
Detection Area Diagrams Description
Diagrams illustrate the detection area patterns (radiation patterns) for various mounting scenarios and speeds:
- Ceiling Mounting: Shows detection patterns at 3m and 6m ceiling heights, with sensitivity at 100% and 50% for normal (1m/s) and slow (0.3m/s) moving speeds.
- Wall Mounting: Shows detection patterns at 2m wall mounting height, with sensitivity at 100% and 50% for normal (1m/s) and slow (0.3m/s) moving speeds.
Installation Notes for Motion Sensor
- Install luminaires side-by-side in the same direction, with at least 3m distance between them to avoid mutual interference.
- Environment Considerations:
- Avoid high-density objects such as metal, glass, and concrete walls within the sensor detection area.
- Avoid moving signals like fans, DC motors, air outlets, heavy rainfall, or motion behind thin walls to prevent false triggers.
- Avoid shock and vibration in the installation environment.
- Detection Range: For common sensor distance, object speed should be less than 1m/s. If an object moves faster than 1m/s, the detection distance will decrease.
- Surface Mounting: It is advised not to install on a wooden surface. If installation on wood is necessary, the wood thickness must be more than 15cm.
- Interference Prevention: To avoid a smaller detection range or abnormal operation, maintain a close distance of at least 1m from large areas of metal and glass. If the Ledinaire Wall-mounted works fails, please reduce the detection area setting or contact Signify to confirm the situation.
