Festool is expanding its edge router family with the introduction of cordless versions: the OFKC 500, MFKC 700, and MFKC 700 KA. These new cordless edge routers, along with innovative accessories from Festool, are designed to offer greater flexibility, maneuverability, and smooth work processes for a wide range of applications. They are ideal for rounding and chamfering solid wood or plastic edges, flush routing protruding laminate panels, or edge banding.

All cordless models feature connectivity to the Festool app, enabling software updates and machine data retrieval.

OFKC 500: Ergonomic, Simple, and Fast

The OFKC 500 is a compact cordless edge router designed for fast and clean edges without rework. It offers easy handling, a balanced center of gravity, and a slim design. The precise routing depth adjustment (1/10 mm range) and a small bore diameter in the base plate ensure perfect routing results without tilting. It is powered by a brushless EC-TEC motor for powerful, low-vibration work and a long service life. A transparent extraction bonnet with an integrated ball bearing brake ensures a clean working environment. The Bluetooth® battery pack allows the vacuum cleaner to start automatically with the machine.

MFKC 700: Versatile Cordless Modular Edge Router

The MFKC 700 is a versatile modular edge router that serves as a true all-rounder. Its universal interface allows for the tool-free mounting of various router tables, making it ideal for applications such as rounding, chamfering, flush routing, profiling, rebating, and grooving. The long router table support with an ergonomic handle ensures secure guidance without tilting. It features depth adjustment with 1/10 mm accuracy and a powerful EC-TEC motor with material-specific speed control for perfect results. The integrated extraction system in the milling table contributes to a healthy and efficient working environment.

The router's optimal center of gravity ensures safe guidance without tipping. A chip catcher acts as a guide aid, even for bevelled edges up to 45°.
