- Close the CPU socket lever to secure the CPU.
C. Installing the CPU Fan and Heatsink
Installing the CPU Box Cooler
- Place the CPU cooler onto the CPU, aligning mounting holes.
- Secure the cooler using the provided screws or clips.
D. Installing Memory Modules
The DeskMeet X600 series requires DDR5 DIMM. For dual-channel configuration, install identical DIMM pairs (same brand, speed, size, and chip-type).
- Open the clips on the DDR5 DIMM slots.
- Align the notch on the memory module with the notch in the slot.
- Push the memory module down firmly until the clips lock into place.
Note: Install modules in slots A2 and B2 for single module, or A1/B1 and A2/B2 for dual modules, following the motherboard layout diagram.
E. Installing the M.2 WiFi/BT Module and WiFi Antennas
- Insert the M.2 WiFi/BT module into the corresponding M.2 slot (Key E).
- Tighten the screw to secure the module to the motherboard.
- Attach the SMA Wi-Fi Antenna Cables to the module's connectors.
- Locate the antenna holes on the rear panel. Push the antenna port cover plates with a screwdriver and snap them off.
- Insert the SMA Wi-Fi Antenna Cables into the antenna holes. Organize cable routing neatly.
- Insert the Wi-Fi Antenna Connectors into the antenna ports on the rear panel.
- Fasten the screw nuts to secure the antenna connectors.
F. Installing the Type 2280 Ultra M.2 SSD
- Locate an M.2 slot on the motherboard (M2_1 for Gen5 x4, M2_2 for Gen4 x4).
- Carefully insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle.
- Tighten the screw to secure the M.2 SSD to the motherboard.
G. Installing the Graphics Card
- Open the PCIe slot retention clip.
- Remove the corresponding expansion slot cover(s) from the case.
- Align the graphics card with the primary PCIe x16 slot and press down firmly until it clicks into place.
