Aqara Dual Relay Module T2
Product Introduction
The Aqara Dual Relay Module T2 is a relay control module that utilizes the Zigbee wireless communication protocol to manage the power status of lights, fans, and other devices. This product supports switching between dry node and wet node modes via a connector wire. When paired with a compatible hub, it enables functions such as app remote control, timing control, and power statistics. The module is compatible with the HomeKit platform, allowing for quick control through the home app.
Note: This product requires a device with Zigbee 3.0 hub functionality. Certain features may depend on specific model hubs. For a detailed list, please visit www.aqara.com/support.
Installation
Important: Ensure the mains power is switched off before commencing installation.
Wet Node Mode
In wet node mode, the equipment is powered by the zero-fire line, and the equipment is controlled via relays.
- Use a screwdriver to loosen the terminal block screws. Connect the zero wire to the 'N' hole and the fire wire to the 'L' hole. Use a connecting wire to link the 'LIN' hole and the 'LOUT' hole. Connect the load (e.g., lamp) wire to 'L1' and 'L2'.
- To retain local control of the original switch, connect the common terminal of the external switch to the 'COM' hole and the switch control wires to 'S1' and 'S2'. Ensure all wiring is correct and tighten the terminal screws.
- Turn on the main power switch and add the device following the quick setup instructions.
- The mechanical switch functionality is only available at AC 85V or above; it does not function with DC voltage.
Dry Node Mode
In dry node mode, controlled devices are managed by dry node signals.
- Use a screwdriver to loosen the device terminal screws. Connect the zero wire to hole 'N' and the fire wire to hole 'L'. Connect the controlled dry node device to 'L1' and 'L2', and connect the 'COM' terminal to the 'LOUT' hole.
- To retain local control of the original switch, connect the common terminal of the external switch to the 'COM' hole and the switch control wires to 'S1' and 'S2'. After confirming the wiring is correct, tighten the terminal screws.
- Turn on the main power switch and add the device according to the quick setup.
- The mechanical switch functionality is only available at AC 85V or above; it does not function with DC voltage.
Device Binding & Initialization
- Before activating the accessory, ensure you have the Aqara Home app downloaded and an Aqara hub installed.
- Open the app, tap "Home", then tap "+" in the top right corner to navigate to the "Add Device (Accessory)" page. Select "Dual Relay Module T2" and follow the on-screen instructions.
If the connection fails, move the accessory closer to the Hub and try again.
Verification of Effective Distance: Quickly press any button on the switch 3 times. The hub will beep, confirming that the device and hub can communicate effectively.
This feature is only supported by the Aqara Home app.
