Quick Installation Guide
1. Connectez le matériel
To set up your router, first position the antennas upwards [antenna symbol] (a). Next, insert your nano SIM card into the designated slot until you hear a ? Click (b). Finally, connect the power adapter and turn on the router (c).
2. Vérifiez la connexion matérielle
Check the status of the following LEDs. If the Internet LED is lit, your router is successfully connected to the Internet: Power On, Internet On, Wi-Fi On.
Note: If the Internet LED does not light up, please refer to Question Q2 in 'Need Help?' in this guide.
For a better Internet connection, ensure that 2 or 3 bars of the signal strength LED are lit. Otherwise, try moving the router to a location that can receive a stronger mobile network signal, for example, near a window.

a. Find the SSID (network name) and wireless password printed on the label located on the bottom of the router.

b. Click the network icon on your computer or go to the Wi-Fi settings on your smart device, then select the SSID to join the network [Wi-Fi icon].

Key features include: blocking unwanted users [block icon], changing basic wireless and network settings [settings icon], viewing information about connected clients [users icon], and configuring parental controls with access times [parental control icon].

- Open the Tether app and log in with your TP-Link ID.Note: If you do not have an account, create one first.
- Tap the [+] icon in the Tether app and select 3G/4G Router.
- Follow the steps to complete the configuration and connect to the Internet.

Q1. What should I do if I cannot access the Web management page?
- If the computer is set to a static IP address, modify its settings to obtain an IP address automatically.
- Ensure that http://tplinkmodem.net or http://192.168.1.1 is entered correctly in the web browser.
- Try using a different web browser and try again.
- Restart your router and try again.
- Disable and enable the active network card being used.
Q2. What should I do if I cannot access the Internet?
- Verify that your SIM card is an LTE or WCDMA card.
- Verify that your SIM card is within the service area of your Internet service provider.
- Verify that your SIM card has sufficient credit.
- Check the LAN connection: Open a web browser and enter http://tplinkmodem.net or http://192.168.1.1 in the address bar. If the login page does not appear, refer to Q1, then try again.
- Launch a web browser, log in to the Web management page, and check the following:
- 1) Go to Advanced > Network > Internet to verify that the settings provided by your ISP are entered correctly. If the settings are incorrect, click Create Profile, enter the correct settings, and then select the new profile from the Profile Name list.
- 2) Go to Advanced > Network > PIN Management to check if a PIN is required. If so, enter the correct PIN provided by your ISP and click Save.
- 3) Go to Advanced > Network > Data Settings to check if the total/monthly usage exceeds the total/monthly allocation. If so, click Correct and set Total/Monthly Usage to 0 (zero), or disable the data limit.
- 4) Go to Advanced > Network > Internet to check if mobile data is enabled. If not, enable Internet access for it.
- 5) Confirm with your ISP if you are in a roaming service area. If so, go to Advanced > Network > Internet to enable data roaming.
Q3. How to restore the router to its factory default settings?
- With the router powered on, press and hold the WPS/RESET button [WPS/RESET button] located on the back panel of the router until the power LED starts blinking, then release the button. Wait for the router to reset.
- Log in to the router's Web management page and go to Advanced > System Tools > Backup & Restore, click Factory Restore, and wait for the reset process to complete.
Q4. What should I do if I forget my Web management page password?
- If you are using a TP-Link ID to log in, click Forgot Password [lock icon] on the login page, then follow the instructions to reset it.
- You can also refer to Q3 to reset the router, then create a new password to log in.
Q5. What should I do if I forget my wireless network password?
- The default wireless password is printed on the product label of the router.
- Connect a computer directly to the router using an Ethernet cable. Log in to the router's Web management page and go to Basic > Wireless to retrieve or reset your wireless password.
